  • Before connecting the appliance to your power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating label is compatible with your mains supply.

OPERATION

SELECTING THE TEMPERATURE

To operate the device, first connect the switch to the electric blanket by plugging in the connector. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.

The electric blanket heats up most quickly when you initially set the highest temperature level. We recommend than selecting the lowest temperature level when using the blanket for several hours.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF FUNCTION

The electric blanket is automatically switched off after approx. 3 hours. To switch on the electric blanket again, first select the position « 0 », and then after approximately 5 seconds the desired temperature level.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning the electric blanket.
  • Before washing, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down.
  • Unplug the control switch unit from the heating blanket using the connector on the underside.
  • Please note that the electric blanket may not be dry cleaned, wrung out, dried by machine, pressed or ironed.
  • The electric blanket may be washed by hand according to the instructions on the label. Never immerse the control switch unit in water as moisture must not be allowed to get into unit.
  • In case of heavier soiling, this electric blanket can be washed in a washing machine.
  • Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30C cycle - woollens programme. Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • To dry, lay the electric blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent towel or mat. When the electric blanket is completely dry, it should be reconnected to the control switch unit in correct manner. The electric blanket may only be operated with its special control unit.
  • When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Store the electric blanket in a clean and dry place. When storing,

do not place any objects on the electric blanket to prevent buckling.
