Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

- Proper use

This product is suited for keeping beverages warm or cold inside and outside of vehicles. This product is not intended to cool down or heat up beverages. The product is suitable for private use only and is not intended for commercial use or other applications.

Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety instructions and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials. Always keep children away from the packaging material.

This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use

of the product and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.

Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.

Do not modify or repair the product.

Any repairs during the warranty period must be performed by a manufacturer authorised service centre, or the warranty will be void if subsequent damages occur.

Protect the product from direct sunlight.

Operating this product with the engine off will drain the car battery. If the battery drains too much, the battery will be unable to start the engine.

Always connect the product to a 12 V car lighter socket using the 12 V connector cable included.
- Do not operate the product if the 12V connector cable 8 included with the product or the product itself is damaged. A defective cable must be replaced by a service centre promptly to prevent hazardous situations.
- Never open the product. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
Only operate the product with the included car adaptor [10] (model no.: DT-CC-01).
The included car adaptor is only suitable for use with this product.

Note:The fuse of the car adaptor can be exchanged. The technical data of the fuse must comply with information

given in the section "Technical data". The fuse may only be replaced by a qualified electrician.

Please note the "Max" marking inside the product. Never fill with beverages beyond this marking.
Always be careful when drinking from the product, as beverages may be hot. Always hold the product by the handle.
When setting the product down, be sure it will not tip during travel or distract you whilst driving.
- Be sure to cover the product with the lid - during travel to prevent spills.
- Never heat the contents of the product with external heat sources.
Never leave the product unattended whilst connected to power.
Never operate the product whilst empty.
Never fill the product with carbonated beverages. Excess pressure may develop.

Avoid spillage on the 12 V connector socket 2.
Potential injury from misuse.
FOOD SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell.

- Before first use

Clean the product before using it for the first time - including after long periods of non-use - as described in the chapter "Cleaning and storage".

Note: This product does not contain an automatic shutdown function. However, we recommend not to use the product for more than 2 hours continuously to ensure an optimal taste experience.

- Keep beverages warm

• Open the lid 5 of the product and add beverages which are to be kept warm.

Note: Please note the "Max" marking 1 inside the product. Never fill with beverages beyond this marking.

Re-attach the lid 5 to the product. If necessary, close the drink opening 4 by sliding the closure 6 over the drink opening 4

Connect the car adaptor 10 to a 12 V cigarette lighter socket via the included 12 V connector cable 8.

Connect the connector plug 9 to 12 V connector socket 2

Refer to the operating manual for your vehicle for the position the ignition needs to be in for the cigarette lighter socket to supply the appropriate voltage.

If necessary, turn the ignition to the necessary position.

The operating LED 7 will light up red when the cigarette lighter socket is powered. Set the ON / OFF switch 3 to position "1" to switch on the product. The product will now start to heat up.

Note: The product will not heat up with the ON / OFF switch 3 is set to position "0", even if the car adaptor 10 is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket and the operating LED 7 lights up.

Place the product into a suitable beverage holder.

• Disconnect the product from the connector plug 9 and then open the lid 5 or the closure 6 to dispense beverages from the product.

Note: Always disconnect the product from power if it contains no beverages.

Note: Be sure to disconnect the product from the power supply when exiting the vehicle. The battery may otherwise become too weak to start the engine.

- Keep beverages cold

• Open the lid 5 of the product and add beverages which are to be kept cold.

Note: Please note the "Max" marking 1 inside the product. Never fill with beverages beyond this marking.

Re-attach the lid 5 to the product. If necessary, close the drink opening 4 by sliding the closure 6 over the drink opening 4
Don't connect the product to power to keep beverages cold.
Place the product into a suitable beverage holder.
- Open the lid 5 or the closure 6 to dispense beverages from the product.

- Cleaning and storage

Switch off the product and disconnect from power supply before cleaning.
To avoid irreparable damage to the product, ensure that no moisture gets into it or the 12 ~V connector socket during cleaning.
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
Never use abrasive cleaners.

This product is not dishwasher safe.

Clean the housing and the inside of the product only using a lightly moistened cloth and a mild dishwashing detergent. Wipe off any residue using a cloth moistened with clean water only.
- Disconnect from power supply and store the product in a clean, dry location away from sunlight if the product will not be used for extended periods.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard / 80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
