The exclamation mark inside an equilateral triangle is intended to alert user of the presence of the important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

Please do not attempt to open the back cover or power adapter as opening or removing the covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards, and it will also cause the restricted servicing to be disabled: There are no user servicing components inside.

This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class B limits for radio noise emissions from digital apparatus as set out in the Radio Interference Regulations of Industry Canada. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

4. Do not use this apparatus near water.

15. The MAINS plugs used as the disconnect device, which shall remain readily operable.

STARPADS9 is a music player, that let you mix Loops, beats, drums, accapellas or sound effects together.

6 main styles of music are available: ELECTRO, REGGAETON, HIP HOP, DUB STEP, FUNKY.

There are Endless possibilities of Mixing and playing the different pads, which will be

YOUR MUSIC, and YOUR STYLE, YOUR MIX.

There is also a DRUMS PADS mode that let you finger-drums on the go.

STARPADS9 is battery powered and fully portable.

1. MUSIC STYLE

Press to Select your genre.

2. LOOPS A

These 3 pads with Music loops can be played one by one, and can be heard when the CROSSFADER's position is on the LEFT.

3. ACAPELLA/FX sounds

Can be Played and heard at any position of the CROSSFADER.

IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on LEFT position, ONLY LOOPS A can be heard.

IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on MIDDLE position, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.

4. LOOPS B

These 3 pads with Music Loops can be played one by one, and can be heard when the CROSSFADER's position is on the RIGHT.

IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on RIGHT position, ONLY LOOPS B can be heard.

IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on MIDDLE position, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.

5.DRUMS MODE

9 drums sound can be played at any position of the CROSSFADER, so CROSSFADER will have NO FUNCTION when you are on DRUMS MODE.

6. TRY ME MODE

Switch on the Right position will be DEMO mode, playing the iDANCE's song. Switch on Right position will be the PLAY MODE.

IMPORTANT: STARPADS9 will automatically turns on when you press any keys, and it will be turning off after 2 minutes.

7. CROSSFADER

Is the MIXER that will BLEND music between the LOOPS A group and the LOOPS B group. CROSSFADER on LEFT position, ONLY LOOPS A can be heard.

CROSSFADER on MIDDLE position, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.

CROSSFADER on RIGHT position, ONLY LOOPS B can be heard.

8. Battery Compartment

Please follow the Battery installation procedure/GETTING STARTED.

9. SPEAKER

Will play LOOPS with the CROSSFADER or DRUMS sounds.

2. GETTING STARTED

Requires 3 "AA" alkaline batteries. When performance diminishes, replace with new batteries. ALWAYS Power off the unit when not in use to preserve battery power.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Locate the BATTERY COMPARTMENT on bottom of the unit.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the SCREW and BATTERY DOOR.
3. Install 3 new "AA" batteries, matching polarity icons with those on the BATTERY COMPARTMENT.
4. Replace the BATTERY DOOR and tighten the SCREW.

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNING!

Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to the product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that comes in contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make "popping" sounds. Dispose entire toy according to Local, State or Federal Battery Laws.

TO AVOID BATTERY PROBLEMS:

NEVER mix old and new batteries or different brands of batteries.
NEVER mix alkaline, standard(carbon-zinc), rechargeable(nickel-cadmium)batteries with this product.
NEVER dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak and explode.
NEVER use rechargeable batteries.
NEVER attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
ALWAYS remove exhausted batteries from toy.
ALWAYS have an adult install batteries consistent with installation instructions.
- ONLY use batteries specified by manufacturer.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct Polarity.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

3. CREATING MUSIC WITH STARPADS 9

There are 2 ways to create music with STARPADS9:

1. Play with the LOOPS and MIX with the CROSSFADER
2. Drums mode for Fingerdrumming

Play with Loops, using the 5 different music style built-in

Drums mode, finger drum alone, the crossfader will not be used for that mode, just press DRUMS and play with the 9 pads!!!

LOOPS AND MIX MODE

1. Select your Music Style

1. Move your CROSSFADER to LEFT POSITION

1. PRESS one of the 3 pads of LOOPS A group, the pad you are playing will be lighten, ONLY one of the 3 pads of this group can be played at the same time

1. PRESS one of the Pads of LOOPS B Group, the pads you are playing will be lighten, ONLY one of the 3 pads of this group can be played at the same time

1. Move your CROSSFADER from LEFT to RIGHT position, to mix your 2 different loops

1. PRESS any pads in the ACAPELLA group, only one of these 3 pads of this group can be played at the same time

1. PRESS any PADS on the LOOPS A Group, that is not lighten, ONLY one of the 3 pads of this group can be played at the same time

1. Move your CROSSFADER from RIGHT to LEFT position, to mix with your different loops that you have selected
