INSTRUCTIONS ON MOUNTING AND USE

Luce OPERATION From o position the stand-by control mode can be activated by pressing any button. The symbol will then light up softly giving the user the possibility to see and choose the function. By pressing one more time any button will activate the corrisponding function and the symbol will then light upcompletely. To ensure a low level of energy consumption,this control has a special device which lets the symbolsremain lighted up half way, in a stand mode, for about 1minute. The symbols will switch o afterwards. A. ON/OFF button- atmosphere light: by pressing this button 4 lights situated at the back of the hood and on the sides will switch on giving a decorative eect with a soft light.; B. ON/OFF button- hood’s light : by pressing this button 2 lights will switch on lighting the hob; C. ON/OFF button- 4 speed motor: by pressing this button the hood will start to operate at the same speed as before being switched o. By using D and E it is possible o change the extracting speed (capacity); GB INSTRUCTION ON

D.Decreasing extracting speed (capacity) button: by pressing this button the extracting speed (capacity) will decrease; E.Increasing extracting speed (capacity) button: by pressing this button the extracting speed (capacity) will increase; F. ON/OF TIMER: by pressing this button the selected extracting speed (capacity) will last for 5 minutes; elected extracting speed (capacity) indicator and lter saturation; Grease lters saturation : after every 40 hours of use of the hood , the speed indicator will ash slowly indicating that the metal lters need to be washed. Charcoal lters saturation : after every 120 hours of use of the hood , the speed indicator will ash fast indicating that the charcoal lters need to be replaced. Note: by pressing at the same time the buttons D and E will eset the lters saturation indicator. Attention! This functionshould only be used after performing the maintenance of the lters.

OPERATION GB Maintenance Prior to any maintenance operation ensure that the cooker hood is disconnected from the electrical outlet. Cleaning The hood must be cleaned frequently both inside (apart from the area behind the grease lter) and outside. Use a cloth moistened with neutral liquid detergents. Never use products containing abrasives. Warning Failure to carry out the basic standards of the cleaning of the cooker hood and replacement of the lters may cause re risks. Therefore we recommend observing these instructions. Anti-grease Filter must be cleaned once a month, with non abrasive detergents, by hand or in dishwasher on low temperature and short cycle. When washed in a dishwasher, the grease lter may discolour slightly, but this does not aect its ltering capacity. Charcoal Filter - (only for lter version) The active charcoal lters F are not washable nor regenerative. It should be changed every 6 months in normal use. The active charcoal lters capture unpleasant cooking odours. Reducing environmental impact: To reduce energy consumption, we recommend you always use the lowest suction speed among those suitable for the cooking mode currently active, avoid leaving the appliance running for more than 15 minutes after burner shutdown and switch o the lights if you leave the cooking area. Replacing lightbulbs Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs ensure they are cooled down. Led Light If the lighting group LED does not work, please contact the technical service center in order to replace the whole group.18
