The water shortage indicator stays on even after filling the tank
Frequently Asked Questions - 06/08/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The water shortage indicator of your G3 Ferrari Artiko G20097 may stay on for several reasons. Here’s how to resolve it:

Preliminary checks to perform immediately:

  • Tank filling: Make sure you have filled the water tank to the maximum limit of 2.2 L. The indicator may stay on if the level is insufficient. Never exceed the MAX level indicated on the tank.
  • Correct insertion of the tank: Check that the tank is fully inserted and properly clicked into the device. A misaligned tank will not be correctly detected by the level sensor, even if it contains water.
  • Type of water: Only use drinking water. Using other water may affect the sensor's operation.

Restarting the machine: After checking the water level and the tank insertion, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the device, then wait about 2 minutes before restarting it. The indicator should turn off after a few minutes of operation.

Important: Check the initial resting period of 12 hours: If this is your first use or if you have moved the device, it MUST rest on a flat and stable surface for at least 12 hours before use. During this time, the oil in the compressor repositions to the appropriate level. Without this rest, the water level sensor may function incorrectly. If you have rested the device for less than 12 hours, wait and try again.

Cleaning the sensor: The sensor may be dirty. Unplug the device, then gently clean the internal contacts of the tank and the sensor area inside the machine with a dry, clean cloth. Avoid water that could damage the sensor.

If the problem persists: Try completely emptying the tank, drying it thoroughly, then refilling it and reinserting it correctly. If the indicator remains on after all these checks and after respecting the 12-hour resting period on a flat surface, the water level sensor is likely faulty and requires professional repair at an authorized G3 Ferrari service center.

The water shortage indicator remains lit even after filling the tank
Frequently Asked Questions - 06/08/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The water shortage indicator (indicator 2) may remain lit for several reasons, even after filling the tank:

Checks to perform

  • Tank capacity: Ensure that you have poured drinking water up to the maximum limit of 2.2 L. An insufficient level may keep the indicator active.
  • Tank insertion: Make sure that the tank is fully inserted and correctly positioned. A poorly clipped tank will not be detected.
  • Contact condition: The water level sensor may be dirty or blocked. Gently clean the internal contacts of the tank and the machine housing with a damp cloth.
  • Initial resting: If this is your first use, the device must rest for at least 12 hours before being turned on. This delay is essential for the correct functioning of the sensor.

If the indicator persists after checking these points, try completely emptying the tank, drying it, and then refilling it. If the problem continues, the sensor may be faulty.
