How to start ice production?
Fill the tank with a maximum of 1.5 L of drinking water, plug in the appliance, press ON/OFF, then select the size of ice cubes (small or large) with the SMALL ICE or LARGE ICE buttons.
Why is the appliance not making ice?

What to do if the full basket indicator lights up?
Empty the ice basket, then press ON/OFF to restart production.
Can I use something other than drinking water?
No, use only drinking water. Other liquids may damage the appliance.
How to clean the ice maker?
Unplug the appliance. Clean the interior with a dry cloth and the exterior with a damp sponge. Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do I need to wait before first use?
Yes, place the appliance on a flat and stable surface for 12 hours before first use to allow the compressor oil to settle. Discard the first batch of ice cubes produced.

The ice maker won't start, only the green light is on - what should I do?
Frequently Asked Questions - just now
Response Notice-Facile

The green light that turns on by itself without the machine working may indicate two main situations with your Artiko Digit G20159:

1. The ice basket is full

The full light (green) illuminates when the ice tray has reached its maximum capacity. The machine automatically stops for safety reasons. Solution: completely empty the basket, then press the ON/OFF button to restart the device.

2. The water reservoir is empty or insufficient

If the green light indicates a lack of water, the reservoir does not contain enough water. The G20159 requires a maximum capacity of 1.5L of drinking water to function properly. Solution: fill the reservoir up to 1.5L with drinking water, then press ON/OFF again.

Additional points to check

  • Initial waiting time: If this is the first use, the manual specifies to let the device rest for 12 hours on a flat and stable surface before plugging it in (the compressor needs to stabilize). Wait at least a few minutes after turning it on before production starts.
  • Condition of the plug: Ensure that the power light blinks when the device is plugged in (220-240V).
  • Drainage: Check that the drain tap (component 11) is not leaking - excess water can block operation.

Start by emptying the basket and filling the reservoir: in 95% of cases, one of these two problems explains why only the light remains on.
