GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent, in order to avoid hazards.

Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.

Important instructions. Retain for future.
- If you are going to use the appliance during continuous or prolonged operation, the ignition switch must be set in position 1 (minimum heat).
- Do not fall asleep while the appliance is working.
- When you don't use the appliance, store it as follows: unplug it, wait it to cool down and fold it. Do not place objets on when the appliance is stored and folded. Store it in dry place.
- When the appliance is stored, wait to cool it down before to fold it.
- Do not fold the appliance placing objects on it during its storage.
- Check the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs exist or if the appliance has been improperly used or does not work, return it to the dealer before reconnecting it.
• This product is not designed for medical use in hospitals. - Do not use if wet.
- This appliance shouldn't be used by insensitive to heat persons or other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.
- Children under three years of age should not use this appliance because of their inability to react to overheating.
- The appliance should not be used by children unless the controls have been preset by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to use the controls safely.
- The appliance should only be used with its supplied control unit with reference CAH 0800/CAH 1400.
- Do not use the product to heat animals.
• This product is an underblanket.
- The pad should be used under direct supervision, especially when used by people who are disabled, insensitive to heat or sick or when used by children.
- If the device is used for a prolonged period on the highest setting, burning of the skin may result.
- Do not use the product if it is wet or in rooms with a high level of humidity, such as bathrooms etc.
- Do not fold or bend the electric cord and do not use your blanket when it is folded up, rolled up or bent on itself.
- Wear it over a garment.
- Do not cut or pierce the heating blanket. Do not make holes using pins or dull instruments. Do not disassemble it
UNDERBLANKET'S PLACEMENT
Make sure that the underblanket is not wrinkled or bent before using.
- Place the underblanket directly on top of the mattress. To place it in the correct position the control connector should be on the top of the mattress (on the head).
- Adjust the underblanket to the mattress with the elastics you have at each corner.
- Place the bottom bed sheet on the top of the underblanket.
- It is advisable to use a pillow or cushion so that the head is not in direct contact with the underblanket.

To turn underblanket on, connect the control to the connector and plug it into the mains.

Move the power selector B up and select the desire level (1, 2 or 3). The underblanket will operate at the desired power.

The underblanket will remain in operation for 3h. or until you turn it off.

The model for double bed is CAH 1400, has two controls and therefore two independent heat zones. So each can select one level of heat or turn off one while the other is still on.
Use only original accessories. Do not connect another controller to the appliance.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
The blanket will turn off automatically after 3 hours. This saves energy and guarantees additional safety as the blanket will never operate without supervision.
After using, unplug the blanket from the mains.
CLEANING AND CARE
- Disconnect the blanket, unplug from the socket and unplug the controller from the blanket.
- The blanket may be washed by hand or in the washing machine with mild detergent at 40°C.
Important
- Do not iron the blanket.
- Please do not use bleach.
- Do not have the blanket dry-cleaned.
• The blanket cannot be dried in a dryer. - Do not use pressure cleaners.
- Please, ensue that the controller does not come into contact with any liquids. The liquid could cause damages.
- Never use the blanket while it is wet or damp. The blanket cannot be switched on while it is drying.
- Let the blanket air-dry. Do not use laundry pins to hang it. It could damage the wires.
STORAGE AND PERIODIC INSPECTION
- Do not wrinkle the device. Fold the product carefully for storage.
- Store the device at a dry location if it is not in use.
- Let the device cool off prior to folding or rolling it.
- Regularly inspect the device and power cord for possible signs of wear or damage.
- Do not use chemical moth protection.
- Do not place any heavy objects on top of the device while storing it; these could damage electric wires.
- Please, return the device to your point of sale in case of any wear or malfunction.
