USER MANUAL AHC 4150 Orbegozo

Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.

General Safety Instructions

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
  2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
  4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.
  6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
  7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
  8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  10. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.

  11. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.

  16. If you are going to use the appliance during continuous or prolonged operation, the ignition switch must be set in position 1 (minimum heat).
  17. Do not fall asleep while the appliance is working.
  18. When you don't use the appliance, store it as follows: unplug it, wait it to cool down and fold it. Do not place objects on when the appliance is stored and folded. Store it in dry place.
  19. When the appliance is stored, wait to cool it down before to fold it.
  20. Do not fold the appliance placing objects on it during its storage.
  21. Check the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs exist or if the appliance has been

improperly used or does not work, return it to the dealer before reconnecting it.

  • This product is not designed for medical use in hospitals.
  • Do not use if wet.
  • This appliance shouldn't be used by insensitive to heat persons or other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.
  • Children under three years of age should not use this appliance because of their inability to react to overheating.
  • The appliance should not be used by children unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to use the controls safely.
  • The appliance should only be used with its supplied control unit with reference AHL 2000.
  • Do not use the product to heat animals.
  • Do not use the product when it is folded, and do not iron out creases.
  • The pad should be used under direct supervision, especially when used by people who are disabled, insensitive to heat or sick or when used by children.
  • The pad can be washed. You always have to unplug the controller from pad.

  • If the device is used for a prolonged period on the highest setting, burning of the skin may result.

  • Do not use the product if it is wet or in rooms with a high level of humidity, such as bathrooms etc.
  • To put it into operation, put the regulator in position for maximum 20 minutes to obtain a rapid heating and then switch to the low position. The position of maximum heat is used only for the rapid warming and never more than 20 minutes.
  • Do not fold or bend the electric cord and do not use your blanket when it is folded up, rolled up or bent on itself.
  • Wear it over a garment.
  • Do not cut or pierce the heating blanket. Do not make holes using pins or dull instruments. Do not disassemble it.

OPERATION

The heating pad can smell plastic during the first use but it will disappear after a short period of time.

ON/OFF

To use the device, first connect the controller to the pad and then plug the controller into a power outlet.

Switch on:

Select the highest temperature level (level 6) a short period of time before use, so the pad will warm up faster. Select the level of temperature control 1 to 6. If you use the pad for a few hours select an average temperature (level 3).

Shutdown:

Select the level 0 on the remote to turn off the heating pad and unplug from the wall outlet.

TEMPERATURE LEVELS

Level 0: off.

Level 1-2: minimum heat.

Level 3-4: medium heat.

Level 5-6: maximum heat.

AUTO STOP

The heating pad is turned off automatically after 90 minutes. It will appear "A" in the LED indicator on the controller.

To reuse the pad, first select the 0 position on the knob and after about 5 seconds select the desired level to restart the pad.

If you do not want to continue using the pad after auto stop, select level 0 in the controller and unplug it from the outlet.

CLEANING AND CARE

Use the heating pad always with the fabric cover to prevent soiling or damage to the appliance (particularly if you use essential oils or creams).

Cleaning: the pad cover is washable. The washing method is specific.

Examine occasionally the pad to verify that the flexible cord shows no traces of wear and the regulator is not damaged. If you find any damage discontinue use of the pad and take it for service.

STORAGE

Wait for the heating pad to cool before folding and storing, otherwise it could result in damaged to the appliance.

To prevent the pad is damaged, do not leave any objects on it when storing.

If you are not using the heating pad for a long time keep it in its original packaging in a dry place and no heavy objects on top.
