Safety advice
PLEASE KEEP ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE CONSULTATION!

Danger of injury!
Please note that the handles may become hot during cooking. For your safety, use a potholder or barbecue gloves.

Danger of damage to property!
Pots in which fat is being heated up must never be left unattended. Fat can very quickly overheat and ignite. Never try to extinguish a fat fire with water. Cover the flames with a pot / pan lid or a thick cloth.
- Never add salt or brine into the empty pre-heated product as this could lead to corrosion. However, a reduction in product performance is not likely.
- Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire.
To avoid heat loss, choose a hotplate with a diameter of the pot that matches.
CAUTION! The pot, the strainer insert and the glass lid are unsuitable for use in the oven!
■ ATTENTION! RISK OF SCRATCHES! Do not move the cookware back and forth on glass-ceramic hobs! We recommend before cooking to wipe briefly the surface of the hob and the cookware bottom with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g. microfiber) to reduce the risk of scratches.
Never hold the hot product under cold running water. The underside of the product may be damaged or fall off.

FOOD-SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell.
Do not use the product if the handles are loose.
Note for induction hobs
Please note the effective bottom diameter of 18cm
Note: a noise may occur under certain conditions, resulting from the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the pot / pan. This is totally normal and does not imply that your induction hob or your cookware is damaged.
Place the pot/ pan in the middle of the induction hotplate.
ATTENTION! High heating-up rate! Do not overheat cookware when preheating.
The room must be aired out well, in the event cookware overheat.
Usage
Before first use, remove any stickers or labels from the article and rinse it in hot water.
Never heat the pot if it is empty.
Fill the pot with water to a level slightly below the steamer insert. Season the water as required.
Place the food to be cooked (vegetables, fish etc...) into the steamer insert.
Place the steamer insert with the food to be cooked on to the pot.
Place the lid on to the steamer insert and bring the water in the pot to the boil.
From time to time, check using a fork to see whether the food is fully cooked.
CAUTION! RISK OF SCALDING! Steam is very hot. Wear long barbecue gloves of a type that cover your lower arm when you lift the lid.
□ After steaming your food, you can use the liquid remaining in the pot as the base for sauces as the liquid contains many of the aromas and nutrients from the food.
- Cleaning and care
This pot is suitable for dishwasher. The glass lid is suitable for dishwasher. Attention! Fragile/not impact
resistant!
For washing the pot by hand, use hot water with a little ordinary washing-up liquid. Avoid using sharp or pointed objects for this in order not to damage the product.
Do not use harsh scouring agents.
In time, the minerals in the water could give rise to stains or discolorations on the product. You can get rid of them by rubbing half a lemon over them. More stubborn stains can be removed with a mixture of nine parts water to one part vinegar essence.
