You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are a constituent of this product. They contain important information about safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use this product only as described and only for the specified areas of application.
Retain these instructions for future reference. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
This hairdryer is intended exclusively for the drying and styling of human hair, under no circumstances is it to be used for wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material. This hairdryer is intended for domestic use only. Pay heed to all of the information in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions.

Safety instructions
- Connect the travel hairdryer to a correctly installed power socket supplying a mains power voltage of 120 / 220 - 240 ~V , at 60 / 50 ~Hz .
- Under no circumstances should the appliance be submersed in liquids or liquids be allowed to penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to moisture and do not use it outdoors. If liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the mains power socket. - To disconnect it, pull only on the plug itself, not on the power cable.

- Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance and protect the cable from being damaged.
- To avoid potential risks, if the appliance power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or by a qualified technician.
- Do not kink or crush the power cable and route it in such a way as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
- Do not use extension cables.
- Never touch the hairdryer, the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
- Disconnect the hairdryer from the power source immediately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power only when you unplug it.
- You must not open or repair the housing of the hairdryer. If you do so, the safety of the appliance is no longer assured and the warranty will become void. Arrange for the hairdryer to be serviced and repaired only by qualified specialists.
Never use the appliance near water, especially in vicinity of sinks, baths or other similar vessels. The proximity of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off. Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket after use. As additional protection, the installation of a residual current circuit-breaker with an activation power rating of not more than 30mA is recommended for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.

This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks.
Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are aged 8 or over and are supervised.
- NEVER lay the hairdryer down or leave it unsupervised when it is switched on.
- Never place the hairdryer close to sources of heat and protect the power cable against potential damage.
- Do not use the hairdryer if it has been dropped or is damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or repaired by qualified technicians if necessary.

- Do not cover the air intake grill while operating the appliance. Clean the grill at regular intervals.
The hairdryer becomes hot when it is in use. Hold it only by the grip when it is hot.
WARNING! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Always set the voltage selector on the appliance to the rating of the local power supply. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you operate the appliance on a 220 - 240 V mains supply when the voltage selector switch is set to 120 V (or vice versa). This can damage the appliance and invalidate the guarantee. Adjust the voltage selector with a coin. Ask your energy supplier or the hotel staff about the rating of the local electrical mains supply. Do not insert the plug into a power socket and switch your travel hairdryer on until this has been clarifi ed.
Ion function
This appliance is equipped with an ionising function.
When drying the hair using a hairdryer, the hair takes on a static charge and to starts to "fly".
The ionisation function ensures that this charging of the hair is neutralised and cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style.
Operation
1) Fold the travel hairdryer ① open until the handle ③ audibly locks into place.
WARNING! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Always set the voltage selector on the appliance to the rating of the electrical mains supply available at your current location, otherwise the appliance could be damaged.
2) Adjust the voltage selector ④ with a coin until a click is heard. Ask your energy supplier or the hotel staff about the rating of the local electrical mains supply.
3) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
4) If required, attach the styling nozzle 8:
- You can use the supplied styling nozzle ⑧ to apply a directed airflow to shape and style your hair. Attach the styling nozzle ⑧ to the front of the hairdryer 1 so that it clicks into place and is firmly in place.
If you want to use a wide air jet, pull the styling nozzle ⑧ off the hairdryer ①.
5) Switch the hairdryer 1 on with the function switch 6.
The travel hairdryer ① is equipped with a three-position switch: "0" (Off), "1" (gentle airflow, warm) and "2" (strong airflow, hot).
In the event of overheating, the travel hairdryer ① switches itself off automatically.
Drying and styling hair
To dry hair quickly, we recommend a short time at switch position "2", and afterwards you can switch to position "1" for forming and styling. If you wish to create a cold air stream, press and hold the "Coolshot" button ⑦.
You can use the supplied styling nozzle to apply a directed airflow to shape and style your hair.

Do not pack and transport the hairdryer ① until it has completely cooled down. Otherwise, it could damage other items.
Cleaning
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the appliance.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you immerse the appliance in water or other liquids during cleaning!
After cleaning, ensure that the travel hairdryer is completely dry before using it again.

- Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it.
WARNING! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
- Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage the surface.
Cleaning the housing
Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution to clean the housing and styling nozzle 8.
Dry all parts thoroughly before re-using the appliance.
Cleaning the air intake grill
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
Clean the air intake grill 2 at regular intervals with a soft brush.
Press the tabs on the air intake grill 2 lightly together and at the same time pull the air intake grill 2 off the hairdryer 1.
Clean the openings of the air intake grill 2 with a soft brush.
Push the air intake grill 2 back onto the hairdryer 1 so that the tabs on the air intake grill 2 click back onto the recesses on the hairdryer 1 housing.
Storage
WARNING! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Do not pack and transport the hairdryer ① until it has completely cooled down. Otherwise, it could damage other items.
Clean the hairdryer 1 as described in the section "Cleaning".
Store the hairdryer 1 in a dust-free, dry location.
Troubleshooting
If your hairdryer ① does not function as expected, first remove the plug from the mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes. The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector!
If the appliance still does not function, contact the service department listed under "Guarantee and service".
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European 2012/19/EU WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal company or your municipal waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly material and can be disposed of at your local recycling plant.
Warranty and service
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.

The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components such as switches and batteries.
This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifi cations which were not carried out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.
