  7. Place the glass coffee jar (7) on the hotplate.
  8. Press the "ON / OFF" button on the control panel. After approx. 3 seconds, the appliance starts to grind the coffee beans. Then the brewing process starts after approx. 3 seconds. The coffee will now be prepared.

  10. An acoustic signal sounds at the end of the brewing process. The hotplate keeps the coffee warm for approx. 35 minutes before switching off automatically.
  11. Remove the plug from the socket after use.

  12. Never use unroasted or humid coffee beans. These can severely damage the device.

Making coffee using filter coffee

  1. Pull the filter housing outwards and place the filter holder, then the permanent filter or paper filter (101). Fill the filter with the desired quantity of filter coffee (1 measuring spoon per cup). Make sure the number of cups is equal to the amount of water in the water tank. During the brewing process, the appliance will use all the water in the water reservoir. Place the filter cover. Then close the filter holder.
  2. Insert the plug into the socket. Indicator lights and on the control panel light up.
  3. Press the button to deactivate the coffee grinding function. The indicator light lights up.

! Note that the indicator light goes out. Coffee strength can not be adjusted when making coffee with ready-to-use ground filter coffee: the strength is then determined by the amount of filter coffee and the amount of water used.

  1. Place the glass coffee jar on the hotplate.
  2. Press the ON / OFF button on the control panel. After approx. 3 seconds, the brewing process starts. The coffee will now be prepared.
  3. The drip-stop enables you to pour a cup of coffee before the coffee maker has finished. Quickly place the coffee jar back on the hotplate to prevent the filter from overflowing.
  4. An acoustic signal sounds at the end of the brewing process. The hotplate keeps the coffee warm for approx. 35 minutes before switching off automatically.
  5. Remove the plug from the socket after use.
  • A clean coffee maker is essential for making delicious coffee. Clean the appliance regularly as described under 'CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE'.
Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.
  • Store unused coffee beans or filter coffee in a cool, dry place. Close their packaging well after opening and store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.
For an optimal coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and grind them only just before making the coffee.
  • Do not reuse coffee, as this will greatly reduce the taste of the coffee.
It is not recommended to heat coffee, because coffee has its optimal taste immediately after cooking.
  • Clean the device if excessive oil formation occurs. Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee grounds. Oil formation can occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffee is used.

  1. Switch off the appliance.
  2. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and if necessary allow the appliance to cool.
  3. Pull the filter housing outwards and remove the filter holder, the permanent filter and the filter cover and clean under running water. If used, dispose of the paper coffee filter. When reinserting, pay attention to the drip stop: it must pass through the recess in the filter housing.
