Warning!

Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials and this product.
Mortal danger! A damaged 230 V battery charger can cause a deadly electric shock. Never use a damaged battery charger.
Mortal danger! Never attempt to plug in or unplug the 230 V battery charger with damp or wet hands.
Mortal danger! Never pull on the cord of the 230 V battery charger. Pull it out using only the casing itself. The cable can be damaged and you could receive an electric shock.
Danger of explosion! Do not use the Vehicle Multilight in potentially explosive atmospheres (e.g., dust, ignitable gases, solvent vapour).
Fire risk! Never pour liquids over electric devices. This can cause a fire risk or the danger of an electric shock. Immediately remove the 230V battery charger from the
mains if liquid has been spilt. Do not use the Vehicle Multilight and request assistance from specialist staff.
Fire risk! Remove the charging unit from the mains when the Vehicle Multilight is fully charged or is not required for use.
Fire risk! Cease using the Vehicle Multilight immediately if smoke exudes from the unit, or if it smells unusual.
Fire risk! The Vehicle Multilight may be charged only using the 230 V charging unit provided, in connection with a 230 V / 50 hertz mains socket or with a 12 V vehicle charging cable from a 12 V vehicle socket.
Injury and accident danger! If you transport the Vehicle Multilight within a vehicle, keep it in the boot or in a suitable compartment so that it does not risk getting damaged by sudden vehicle movement.
Injury danger! Do not look directly into the beam of light or shine the beam into the eyes of other people. This can cause temporary blindness or damage the retina.
Injury danger! Do not attempt to change, open or manipulate the Vehicle Multilight as this can increase the danger factor.
Warning! The Vehicle Multilight is not waterproof and not for use in humid surroundings.
Injury danger! Do not expose the charger to fire or to extreme heat. Doing this can cause the charger to burst or explode.
Danger of acid burns! A damaged charger can leak corrosive vapour or liquid. If this occurs, make sure that a fresh air supply is restored and wash the affected areas of the skin thoroughly with water and soap. Allow an expert to check the charger and the Vehicle Multilight.

Area of application and performance features
The Vehicle Multilight is a practical aid for all repair jobs around the car, and will assist during breakdowns as well as during your leisure time activities. The Vehicle Multilight has been designed for general lighting in a mobile application. Any other use is not designated and will lead to a disclaimer of liability.
The essential performance features are:

Accessories: Belt Cutter
The belt cutter is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
- Do not use a broken or damaged belt cutter, e.g., if it has been damaged or deformed by heat. The exposed blade can cause serious injury.
Areas of application:
For the speedy cutting of seat belts and items of clothing of persons involved in traffic accidents.
For cutting other materials such as textiles, gauze bandages, foil or lashing straps.

USE
Please check the re every use for possible damage. Never use a damaged product.
Charging
Charge the battery fully before initial use. When the battery is completely charged, the Vehicle Multilight is ready to use.
- Remove the Covering [2].
- Plug the selected charging cable into the Charging socket [9] of the Vehicle Multi-light.
- Plug the 230 V Charging mains adapter [13] into the mains or the Vehicle charging cable [12] into a 12 V vehicle socket.
- Remove the charging cable when the battery has been fully charged (this will be indicated by the Charge control light [10]). Warning: Lengthy charging via a 12 V vehicle socket will run the vehicle battery down!
- Replace the Covering [2].
Charge display control light [10] (red):
Lights up when the battery is being charged
Switches off when the charging process is complete and the battery is fully charged.
Switching the Headlamp on or off:
Press the On/Off switch [5] on the Handle [4].
Switching the Reading light on:
Remove the Covering [2].
Switch the On/Off switch [11] to Position II.
Replace the Covering [2].
Switching the Flashing warning light on:
Remove the Covering [2].
Switch the On/Off switch [11] to Position I.
Replace the Covering [2].
Switching the Reading light / Flashing warning light off:
- Remove the Covering [2].
- Switch the On/Off switch [11] to Position 0.
- Replace the Covering [2].
Note:
Plugging the Charging cable into the Charging socket [9] will automatically switch off the Vehicle Multilight. As soon as the Charging cable is unplugged, the Vehicle Multilight will return to the state in which it was last active (Headlamp, Reading light or Flashing warning light).
Swivelling Handle
For optimum use and for space-saving storage, the Vehicle Multilight Handle [4] can be swivelled into two different positions.
- Press the Ratchet knob [3].
- Turn the handle anti-clockwise and release the Ratchet knob. The Handle will lock into the desired position.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

Caution!
Never use a damaged product (e.g., worn cable, cracked casing).
If the product is damaged and requires repair, or other problems with the product arise, always consult the staff at the place of purchase or other certified specialist personnel.
Always disconnect the 230V charging mains adapter from the mains before attempting to clean or check the Vehicle Multilight.
Care
- Rechargeable batteries lose their power over time. Charge the batteries every three months if you are not using the Vehicle Multilight regularly.
Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents to clean the unit.
Do not dip the Vehicle Multilight into liquids.
Store the Vehicle Multilight in a clean, dark and dry place.
