What surfaces can I clean with the Kärcher WV 5 Plus?

The WV 5 Plus is designed for smooth, wet surfaces such as windows, mirrors, wall tiles, and worktops. It should not be used on dusty surfaces or to vacuum large amounts of liquid.

Can I use foaming detergents or gasoline?

No, use only non-foaming standard glass cleaners. Gasoline or foaming detergents would damage the device.

How do I charge the battery?

Place the device on the charging station (if provided) or connect the charger directly to the device. The built-in battery charges in about 2 hours. The LED lights up for 60 minutes after full charge.

What should I do if the device no longer suctions properly?

Check that the dirty water tank is not full (max capacity 100 ml). Clean the microfiber pad and suction nozzle. If the problem persists, refer to the manual.

Can I use the device continuously for a long time?

The battery life is approximately 20 minutes per charge. For large areas, plan a break to recharge the battery. Do not overload the device.

How do I clean the microfiber pad?

Wash the pad in clean water or in a machine at max 60°C. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Let it air dry.

Is the device waterproof? Can I rinse it under water?

No, the device contains electrical components. Never immerse it in water or rinse it. Clean it with a damp cloth.

Can I use the device on very shiny surfaces?

• Use this battery operated appliance only for personal use, for cleaning moist, smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors or tiles. Not meant for the vacuum of dust.
• The appliance is not intended to vacuum up larger amounts of fluids from horizontal surfaces, such as from a tipped drinking glass (max. 25 ml).
• Only use this appliance with conventional window cleaners (no spirit, no foam cleaners).
• Please use this appliance only with accessories and spare parts approved by KÄRCHER.
