BEFORE USE: Make sure that all products’ packaging has been removed. This appliance has been designed to wave, curl, curl ends in and out, add body and straighten hair.

OPENING & CLOSING THE

STRAIGHTENER (FIG. 1): To closet he straightener, shut the plates and slide the lock of the plates to the closed pos- tion. The plates will be locked in the closed position. To open the hair straightener, slide the lock the other way. The plates will be open. USE: Hold down the power button (B) 3 seconds and the battery and temperature LED indica- tors (C) will ash, indicating that the straightener is heating up. The default temperature is 150ºC. Repeatedly pressing the temperature selector (B) will alternate between the tem- peratures of 150ºC and 180ºC. Select the ideal temperature for your hair type. We recom- mend using lower tempera- tures for very ne, damaged or dyed hair and higher tem- peratures for curly, thick or unmanageable hair. This straightener allows you to create a straight or wavy style. TO STRAIGHTEN (FIG. 3): Take a lock of hair (approxi- mately 5 cm wide) and place it between the plates. Close them and slide the straighte- ner down the lock of hair from the roots to the tips. Repat this operation until all your hair is completely straight. For best results, we recom- mend you begin with the lower layers of hair and conti- nue with the top layers. TO SHAPE (FIG. 4): For a wavy or curly look, separate vertical locks so the curls fall more naturally. Take thicker sections for bi- gger curls or natural-looking waves and ner strands for romantic ringlets and tighter curls. Wrap each lock of hair around the straightener using a circu- lar motion (as through it were a round brush) to get a wave and ringlet-shaped lock. Hold the tip of the hair and start wrapping the hair as you slide the straightener downward. STAND-BY FUNCTION: If the appliance is left static for a period of time longer than 15 minutes it will turn o󰀨 automatically.

ISHED USING THE APPLI-

ANCE: Stop the appliance pressing the on/o󰀨 button 3 seconds until the indicator lights o󰀨. Wait until the appliance cools before saving it. Clean the appliance. CLEANING Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task. Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. Do not use solvents, or prod- ucts with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance. Never submerge the appli- ance in water or any other liquid or place it under run- ning water. If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and in- exorably a󰀨ect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use.
