How to install the included RGB controller?

Refer to the quick start guide for the included RGB Fan Controller. Connect the SP120 RGB fans to the controller ports, then connect the controller to a SATA power connector and a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.

What is the recommended orientation for the power supply?

Install the power supply in the lower chamber with the fan facing downward to draw fresh air through the bottom filter. Secure it with the four included screws.

How to clean the tempered glass panels?

Use a soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive products. Wipe gently without excessive pressure.

Can I install a 360mm radiator on top?

No, the top only supports a 240mm radiator. For a 360mm radiator, use the front of the case.

How many SSDs can I install?

The case has two dedicated 2.5-inch SSD mounts on the motherboard tray. You can also install additional ones using the mounting points behind the right side panel.

How to remove the front glass panel?

Unscrew the mounting screws on the sides of the front panel, then gently but firmly pull to detach it from the case.

What to do if a fan makes an abnormal noise?

Check that no cable is touching the blades. If the noise persists, contact CORSAIR support at corsair.force.com to request a replacement under warranty.

The motherboard does not screw onto the standoffs, what should I do?

Ensure the standoffs are properly installed in the correct positions (ATX, Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX form factor). If holes do not align, verify the case compatibility with your motherboard.

Can I replace the included fans with other models?

Yes, the fans are standard (120mm or 140mm) and are mounted with screws. You can replace them with any compatible fan, but the RGB controller only supports CORSAIR RGB fans.

What is the warranty for the case and how to contact support?

With its tempered glass front and side panel, the Corsair Crystal Series 460X is a compact and gorgeous ATX case with great cooling potential. Wires and drives are stowed away under a removable two-piece PSU and HDD cover. The Direct Airflow Path design ensures that fans don't have to work to get air through unused drive cages, but can gently direct air to your hottest components and keep things quiet and still cool.

1. Removing the Side Panels

Remove the thumb screws and pull the side panel off.

2. Installing the Motherboard

Snap your motherboard's I/O shield into the cutout.

Align the motherboard with the standoffs in the case.

Secure with the included screws.

3. Installing HDDs

Step 1 - Place the drive into the 3.5'' drive tray.

Step 2 - Slide the drive and rail assembly into the HDD cage from behind the motherboard as shown.

Slide the 2.5" drive into the tray until it snaps into place.

5. Installing the Power Supply

Install the PSU into the lower chamber of the case, and secure with four screws from behind.

6. Installing PCI-E/PCI Card(s)

1. Remove thumbs and corresponding slot covers.
2. Install the expansion card and secure with thumbscrews.

7. Removing the Front Fascia

Unscrew the front panel, then gently but firmly pull away from the chassis.

8. Installing the Front I/O Connectors
