How to disassemble the clarinet after use?
First remove the reed, ligature, and mouthpiece. Then separate the upper and lower bodies by gently pressing on the keys. Remove the barrel and bell.
What regular maintenance is required?
After each use, remove interior moisture with a swab. Wipe the body and keys with a soft cloth. Clean and dry the mouthpiece and reed.
How to lubricate the keys?
Use very little key oil on all pivot parts. Avoid excess to prevent clogging the mechanism.
What precautions should be taken to avoid damaging the instrument?
Do not expose the clarinet to sudden temperature changes, excessive heat, or humidity. Always store it in its case or on a secure stand.
Can I repair my clarinet myself?
No, do not attempt to adjust or repair the instrument yourself. Contact your retailer or a qualified technician.
How to store the reed correctly?
After cleaning and drying, store the reed in its protective case to prevent damage or deformation.
