USER MANUAL TC350 TAURUS
SAFETY ADVICE AND WAR-
NINGS - Read these instructions care- fully before switching on the appliance and keep them for fu- ture reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions may result in an accident. - Clean all the parts of the pro- duct that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the clea- ning section, before use. - This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people or children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given super- vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the ha- zards involved. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised - Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of children under the age of eight. - This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people if they have been given supervision or ins- truction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and un- derstand the hazards involved. - This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - Disconnect the appliance and unplug the mains if you leave it unattended and before chan- ging the accessories or near- by moving parts, assembling, dismantling or cleaning. - If the connection is damaged it must be replaced. Take the appliance to an authorised Technical Assistance Service. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous. - Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. - Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes. - The appliance’s plug must t into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.- Keep the working area clean and well lit. Clutte- red and dark areas invite accidents. - -The appliance should be used and kept over a at and stable surface. - Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. - If any of the appliance casings breaks, immedia- tely disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock. - Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the oor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak. - Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance. - Ensure that the electric cable does not get trapped or tangled. - Check the condition of the electrical connection cable. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. - This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use. - The power cord must be regularly examined for signs of damage and if damaged, the appliance must not be used. - Do not touch the plug with wet hands. - Take the necessary measures to avoid starting the appliance involuntarily. USE AND CARE: - Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use. - Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly tted. - Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work. - Do not move the appliance while in use. - Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do not turn it over. - Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the mains. - Respect the MAX level indicator (Fig. 1) - This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use. - This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled. - Any misuse or failure to follow the instruc- tions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE: - Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed. - Before using the product for the rst time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.
PULP QUANTITY REGULATOR
- This appliance has a system for regulating the quantity of pulp ltered. - The quantity of pulp can be regulated by turning the jar while holding the motor support - For maximum ltering, turn the jar anticlockwise until it stops. Fig.2A - For minimum ltering, turn the jar clockwise until it stops. Fig.2B USE: - Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in. - Fit the jar (C) onto the motor body (A) until it engages, place the strainer (D) over the jar and to nish, t the cone (E) into the strainer by pressing it until it engages - Connect the appliance to the mains. - Cut the citrus fruit/s to be squeezed in half. - Turn on the appliance by pushing down on the piece of citrus fruit, once it has been placed on the juicing cone. - To stop the appliance, simply stop applying pressure to the cone. - Remove the cone and strainer assembly in order to empty the jar. - Empty the jug of juice, tipping its contents into whatever table service receptacle you like. - Note: If you process large quantities of fruit, you will need to clean the lter and remove the residual pulp on a regular basis.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE: - Unplug the appliance to the mains. - Put the cable back in the cable housing. - Clean the appliance CORD HOUSING - This appliance has a cable compartment situa- ted on its underside (Fig. 3) CLEANING - Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool before undertaking any cleaning task. - Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. - Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,for cleaning the appliance. - Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap. - It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains. - If the appliance is not in good condition of clean- liness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use. - The appliance is suitable for cleaning in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher (using a soft cleaning program): - Goblet - Cone - Strainer - Next dry all the parts before tting them together and storing.
