How to inflate the SaluSpa 60064?
Use the provided inflation pump. Connect the air hose to the pump and the spa. Do not use a compressor. Inflation takes about 10 minutes. Ensure the ambient temperature is above 15 °C to avoid damaging the PVC.
What is the maximum water temperature?
The maximum temperature is 40 °C (104 °F). Never exceed this limit to avoid risk of burns or hyperthermia.
How to test the GFCI circuit breaker?
Before each use, plug in the spa, then press the Test button on the GFCI: the spa should turn off. Press Reset to turn it back on. If the test fails, do not use the spa and contact customer service.
How often to replace the filter cartridge?
We recommend replacing the filter cartridge every week. Clean it daily by rinsing with clear water. If it is dirty or discolored, replace it immediately.
How to use the energy-saving timer?
Press the timer button, set the heating duration (1 to 999 hours) then the delay before activation (0 to 999 hours). Confirm by pressing again. The timer does not repeat automatically.
What to do if the spa displays error code E03?
Error code E03 indicates that the water temperature is below 4 °C. The spa is not designed to operate in these conditions. Unplug the pump and wait until the water reaches at least 6 °C before restarting.
How to winterize the spa?
If the temperature drops below 6 °C, keep the heating on continuously. The Freeze Shield™ system keeps the water between 6 °C and 10 °C. In case of prolonged absence, disassemble and store the spa in a warm place (≥ 15 °C).
What chemicals to use for water maintenance?
Use chlorine or bromine tablets (not granules) with the provided chemical dispenser. Adjust pH between 7.4 and 7.6, alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm, and free chlorine between 2 and 4 ppm. Do not throw products directly into the water.
How to repair a tear in the cover?
Clean and dry the area. Use the provided adhesive patch: apply it by pressing firmly for 30 seconds. For TriTech PVC, use the PVC patch with glue (not provided) and let dry for 30 minutes before inflating.
Why does the water not heat up?
Check that the set temperature is higher than the current temperature. Clean or replace the filter cartridge. Make sure the cover is in place. If the problem persists, the thermal fuse may have blown: unplug the pump and let it cool for 2 hours before trying again.
