USER MANUAL BL 6860 GRUNDIG

Please read this instruction man- ual thoroughly prior to using this appliance! Follow all safety in- structions in order to avoid dam- ages due to improper use! Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this ap- pliance be given to a third party, then this instruction manual must also be handed over.

This appliance is intended for private domestic use only and is not suitable for professional ca- tering purposes. It should not be used for commercial use.

The blades are very sharp! Handle the sharp blades with utmost care, especially dur- ing removing and cleaning, in order to avoid injuries.

Never clean the appliance with bare hands. Always use a brush.

Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not at- tach or remove the parts until the appliance comes to a com- plete stop.

Always keep hair, clothing and any other utensils away from the appliance during opera- tion in order to prevent injury and damages.

The appliance is intended for domestic use only.

Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.

For additional protection, this appliance should be con- nected to a household faulty current protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Consult your electrician for advice.

Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liquids.

Dry the appliance and all parts before connecting it to the mains supply and before attaching the accessories.

Do not operate the appli- ance without ingredients in the measuring beaker or chopping bowl.

Never place the appliance, at- tachments, power cord or plug on hot surfaces such as gas or electric burners or hot oven sur- faces and never use with hot liquids or food.

Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

Never switch on the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food.

Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands.

Operate the appliance with delivered parts only.

The appliance is designed to process only common house- hold quantities.

Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged or show signs of wear.

Make sure that there is no dan- ger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use.

Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible.

A spatula may be used to re- move the food from the measur- ing beaker and chopping bowl. Make sure that the appliance is switched off before doing this.

To prevent overheating, do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds. After operating the appliance for 10 seconds, switch it off and wait for 1 minute to let it cool down if you would like to use it another 10 seconds.

We do not recommend operat- ing the appliance with dry or hard foods or for ice crushing as this may conclude in dull or damaged blades.

Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from being dam- aged.ENGLISH

To prevent overheating do not operate the ap- pliance continuously for more than 10 seconds.

To prevent overflowing of the mixture do not overfill the measuring beaker

or bowl. Smaller amounts are easier to process.

To prevent any accidents use the beaker lid as anti-slip rubber pad by putting the beaker base on the lid. Notes

Before you take the processed food out of the bowl, always turn off the product.
