1) Plug the DC plug from the charger into the DC socket situated at the extremity of the charging base.

2) Connect the charger to the mains power supply.

3) Switch o the unit and place it in its charging support cradle.

4) The red indicator light will glow; it indicates that the unit is being charged.

5) Before using the unit for the very rst time, it must be charged for at least 24 hours.

6) After several uses, when the battery is weak, recharge it for a period of at least 7 hours.

7) To conserve battery capacity, you should discharge the battery completely every three months and then

recharge it completely.

8) If the charging light does not come on, check that the plug is making good contact with the socket on the base

Cleaning and storage

1) After use, switch o the unit and disconnect it, remove the cutting head while holding the front edge.

Rinse the blades under the tap, or clean them using the cleaning brush provided (see gure A).

2) Always use fresh water only to clean the Body Hair Clipper, without any additional cleaning products.

3) Dry the unit using a dry cloth.

4) Always store the unit in a dry place out of the reach of children.

5) Do not submerge the Body Hair Clipper in order to clean it.18

Important safety instructions Whenever you use electrical equipment, always observe basic safety advice. DANGER To reduce the risk of electrocution:

5. Never put foreign objects into any of the openings in the Body Hair Clipper.

6. Keep the cable clear of very hot surfaces.

7. Do not use abrasive substances or aggressive cleansers.

8. Do not use this unit with a damaged or split grille.

9. This unit is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge unless they have been provided, by a person in charge of safety, with supervision or prior instructions concerning the use of the unit. Once their useful life is at an end, remove the cutter head by pulling from the front, taking care to protect your ngers with a cloth. Unscrew the head retaining screws. Withdraw the head rst of all. Tap the unit on a hard surface covered with a thick, protective cloth, to open the housing. Unsolder the joints and remove the batteries for correct disposal. Return the batteries to your reseller, or dispose of them correctly at a designated site in accordance with the legal requirements in force in your region. LIMITED GUARANTEE LANAFORM® guarantees that this product is free of all manufacturing and material defects for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except under the following circumstances: this guarantee for a LANAFORM® product does not cover damage resulting from incorrect or improper use, accidental damage, the addition of an unapproved accessory, any modi cation to the product or any other situation outside the control of LANAFORM®. LANAFORM® is not liable for any accidental, consequential or special damage. All implicit guarantees covering product suitability are limited to a period of two years from the date of initial purchase. On reception, LANAFORM® will, as it deems t, repair or replace your personal razor-clipper and will return it to you carriage paid. This guarantee is only valid through the LANAFORM® Service Centre.
