Connect the appropriate connection cable (12 V DC or 230 V AC). For models without the Heater accessory, cooling starts automatically. For models with Heater, set the switch to COLD and adjust the thermostat (ECO or MAX mode).
Can I heat food with this cooler?
Yes, if your model is equipped with the Heater function (optional accessory). Set the switch to HOT to heat up to 65°C max.
What is the difference between ECO and MAX modes?
ECO mode is more energy efficient and recommended for normal use. MAX mode cools faster but consumes more. In 12 V, MAX mode is not available.
How to protect my car battery?
The device has an activatable battery protector (ABS) that prevents excessive discharge. If the cooler is connected to the DC socket, disconnect it before charging the battery with a rapid charger.
Can the cooler be used in the rain?
No, the device must not be exposed to rain. Use it only in a dry environment (camping, inside a vehicle).
How to clean the cooler?
Disconnect the device. Clean the inside and outside with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products and never immerse the device in water.
What to do if the cooler does not work?
Check that the DC socket is powered (ignition on) or that the mains socket works. If the fan appears defective, contact an authorized after-sales service.
Can I connect the cooler to a 24 V socket?
Yes, with the optional 24 V DC/DC transformer (Y24) which converts 24 V to 12 V for the device.
What foods can be stored?
All foods that require refrigeration (original packaging or suitable containers). Do not place glass bottles at too low temperatures (risk of breakage).
Is the device under warranty?
The manual does not specify a specific warranty period. Consult your dealer or the manufacturer Outwell for warranty conditions.
