(Z) and pressure hose (P). - Before putting into operation the suction hose (Z) must be completely filled with water. - NOTE: To protect the pump from contamination, put on the suction side a pre-filter. - NOTE: It will be not possible for fish or other animals to get in the suction line, use a grating or filter Overload protection: The built-in safety stops the pump in case of overheating. Unplug the appliance and let it cool. The pump must not be turned back on after uncontrolled cooling. First check the following points: - Is there enough water available? - Is the filter clogged? - Is there dirt in the pump? - Are hoses or nozzles clogged? - Is the pump cool down? Are the issues solved, you can run the pump.
Maintenance To ensure a long life and problem-free operation, we recommend that you maintain and clean your pump regularly. - Follow the safety instructions. - Pump maintenance depends strongly on the level of water contamination. Regularly check the filter cap for clogging to prevent the pump from sucking water. - Turn the pump off before taking it out of the water for maintenance. - Clean the filter cap and remove all debris from its slots. - Remove the filter cap from the pump to open the motor housing, by turning the screws out.
Get the impellor out from the motor. Pay attention to the o-ring which sits on the motor housing. - Clean all parts with clean water. - Replace the defective parts. (page 11) - Place the impellor back into the motor and close the motor housing. Important! When there is a lot of calcium in the water, it is important to clean the split tube and impellor in the motor regularly.
