How to install the batteries?

Remove the battery compartment and insert 4 AA batteries following the indicated polarity. Remove the batteries if the appliance will not be used for a long time.

How to light the barbecue?

Place charcoal in the chamber without exceeding the MAX line. Add fire lighter gel or cubes (15-20 g) in the center. Light with a lighter. Do not cover the chamber before ignition.

What is the ideal cooking temperature?

Start cooking when the temperature reaches approximately 300°C, about 6 to 8 minutes after lighting the charcoal.

How to clean the barbecue?

After cooling, remove the removable parts and clean them with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water.

Why does the stainless steel plate discolor?

SUS304 naturally discolors under heat. This is a normal phenomenon and not a defect.

How to safely extinguish the fire?

Cover the charcoal chamber with a damp cloth, then sprinkle water on the cloth. Dispose of embers only after complete extinction.

What to do if the indicator light does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are properly installed, that they are charged, and that the switch is in the on position.

Can I use gel and fire lighter cubes at the same time?

No, choose one of the two. The total quantity must not exceed the MAX line indicated on the chamber.

What is the warranty period?

The following safety instructions explain how to operate the machine correctly and safely, so as to avoid unpredictable danger or damage in advance.

Warning: The user could be injured if he or she does not follow the instructions.

Note: If the user does not follow the instructions, the machine could be damaged.

Warning

• Power supply is 4 AA batteries. The batteries must be placed into the battery box according to the marking direction.
• Please remove the batteries when the machine is not used for a long time. If not, serious leakage may damage the battery box.
• If the machine breaks down, please stop the operation and turn off the switch.

Danger

During cooking, keep the machine out of the reach of children to avoid burns. In use or after use, do not touch the stainless steel BBQ rack/plate with bare hands. It is easy to get burned. Place the machine on a smooth surface out of the reach of children to avoid burns, accidents, and malfunction.

After use

• Place the machine in a safe place out of the reach of children and away from fire, and let the charcoal burn out by itself. To avoid fire hazards, soak the charcoal embers in water and make sure the fire is completely extinguished before disposing of them. Do not throw the charcoal embers into a flammable container.
• Do not extinguish the charcoal fire with water immediately. Sparks or steam may be produced. It is better to cover the charcoal bowl with a piece of wet tissue. Then extinguish the charcoal fire by sprinkling some water on the wet tissue.
• Burning time of charcoal is 5 - 6 hours. Make sure the charcoal totally burns out before throwing the embers away.

Safety Attentions

• Read the instruction manual before use.
• Do not disassemble, repair or reconstruct the machine. Abnormal operation may cause fire disaster.
• Without food on the s/s BBQ plate or Aluminum BBQ tray, do not run the machine for long time. High temperature may make the coating of Aluminum BBQ tray discolor.
• To recycle, used batteries should be separated from normal rubbish. Used batteries should be disposed by nearby recycling center.
• Do not soak the machine into water for cleaning. Otherwise the machine would fail to work because of short-circuit.
• Do not operate the machine on thermolabile material like plastic table, glass or paper pad. Otherwise the machine would be damaged, even fire disaster caused.
• Do not operate the machine in closed space for long time. Otherwise the user would feel suffocating as lack of oxygen.
• Do not use the machine near other heating appliances, otherwise the machine may break down.
• Do not scratch the Aluminum BBQ tray surface by sharp objects like metal spoon. Otherwise the coating of Aluminum BBQ tray would get damaged and its life would be shortened.
• Do not use the machine in warm and moist places like sauna room or bathhouse.
• When washing the detachable parts, please clean them with wet cloth and wipe them with dry cloth.
• Please dispose of the waste machine according to the correct disposal procedure. If not, environmental pollution may be caused.
• Prevent water and rain from permeating into the machine.
• Please keep the machine far away from anything flammable, such as sparks, flames, or fire sources.
• When grilling, it is forbidden to pour water on the stainless steel BBQ plate or aluminum BBQ tray. The stainless steel BBQ plate or aluminum BBQ tray may deform when cool water meets high temperature.
• After use, take the charcoal bowl out of the machine with the tool. Cover the charcoal bowl with a piece of wet tissue, then put the charcoal fire out by sprinkling some water on the wet tissue. This way, no sparks will splash.
• It is forbidden to use this product for other purposes.

1. Install batteries

Draw out the battery box and install the batteries according to the marking direction. (Pic 1)

2. Turn on the firepower switch

Turn on the switch and confirm the power indicator lights up. Then turn the switch clockwise to "MAX". (Pic 2)

Note: When the temperature is too high, turn the knob switch counterclockwise to lower the temperature.

3. Put charcoal into the charcoal bowl

Put appropriate charcoal into the charcoal bowl. It is best not to exceed the "MAX" mark line on the charcoal bowl. Too much charcoal may burn the food and damage the coating of the aluminum BBQ tray. (Pic 3)

4. Add fire accelerant (alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks)

From the concave center of the charcoal bowl base, squeeze alcohol paste (about 25-30g) round and round on the bottom. (Pic 4a)

b). Add solid alcohol blocks

Put solid alcohol blocks on the concave center of the charcoal bowl base. Use four small pieces (5g each) or one big piece (20g), and each time use 15-20g of solid alcohol blocks. (Pic 4b)

Points for attention:

Do not add alcohol paste and solid alcohol blocks together; choose only one of them. If you cannot accurately measure the amount of alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks, refer to the "MAX" mark line. The amount added should not exceed the "MAX" mark line. (Pic 4c)

It is dangerous to overuse alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks.

5. Ignite the alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks.

Before ignition, do not cover the charcoal bowl base with the charcoal bowl.

6. Place the charcoal bowl with charcoal into the charcoal bowl base.

Place the charcoal bowl on the charcoal bowl base using the matched tool. It takes about 3 minutes to ignite the charcoal. In the beginning, the smoke may cause eye discomfort. Put the machine in a well-ventilated place for 3 minutes until the smell and smoke disappear. (Pic 6)

7. Place the stainless steel BBQ rack and stainless steel BBQ plate on the oil-receiving tray.

Attentions in Use

• If the charcoal has been stored in a moist environment for a long time, it may splash after being ignited. It is necessary to cover the charcoal bowl with the oil-receiving tray and the stainless steel BBQ rack/plate.
• SUS304 discolors when exposed to high temperatures. As a result, parts that directly contact the fire, such as the charcoal bowl, charcoal bowl base, oil-receiving tray, BBQ rack, and BBQ plate, may discolor after use. This is a normal phenomenon and not a manufacturing defect.
• Put the charcoal fire out with water after use outdoors. Before leaving, please make sure the fire is completely out.
• As the flame is not very obvious, special attention should be paid. It is forbidden to place the machine near a fire source.
• Ignite the alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks after the charcoal bowl base is placed into the machine body.
• If ignition fails, ignite the alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks in the correct way again. It is forbidden to smear the alcohol paste directly on the charcoal.
• Do not incline or overturn the machine during use.
• It is forbidden to add alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks while grilling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

After use

• Turn off the switch, then remove the stainless steel BBQ plate, stainless steel BBQ rack, and oil-receiving tray from the machine body.
• Using thinner, benzene, or rough cloth may damage the stainless steel BBQ plate, stainless steel BBQ rack, and oil-receiving tray.
• After use, the temperature of the stainless steel BBQ rack, stainless steel BBQ plate, and oil-receiving tray is very high. Allow them to cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the stainless steel BBQ plate, stainless steel BBQ rack, and oil-receiving tray with neutral detergent, then wipe and dry them with a soft cloth or sponge.
• It is forbidden to soak the entire machine in water. Please clean with a wet cloth and wipe with a dry cloth.
• After use, the remaining fire may last for 5-6 hours. When the charcoal has burned out completely, extinguish the fire thoroughly with water, dispose of the embers, then clean the machine.

STORAGE

1. Clean the oil-receiving tray, stainless steel BBQ rack, and stainless steel BBQ plate with a wet cloth, then wipe them dry with a dry cloth. Clean the machine body with a soft cloth.
2. After drying, store it in a dry, shaded place.

1. It is better to start grilling when the temperature reaches about 300°C (6-8 minutes after the charcoal is ignited). This way, food can be free from smoke pollution.
2. Before adding more alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks, make sure the fire is completely extinguished.
3. If alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks drip out of the charcoal bowl base, clean it before igniting.
4. If the alcohol paste or solid alcohol blocks ignite accidentally, put out the fire with a wet cloth or by covering it with something nonflammable. It is dangerous to put out the fire by waving your hands.
5. Different charcoals have different heat effects. Traditional wood charcoal can meet the requirements of grilling. Pure wood charcoal can achieve a better heat effect.
6. SUS304 discolors when exposed to high temperatures. As a result, components that come into direct contact with the fire, such as the charcoal bowl, charcoal bowl base, oil-receiving tray, BBQ rack, and BBQ plate, may discolor after use. This is a normal phenomenon and not a manufacturing defect.
7. This is a household product. It can also be used for cooking food and boiling water when a pan is placed on the stainless steel rack.

There is a two-year warranty on your grill from the date of purchase. All material or manufacturing defects will be repaired free of charge.

The following applies:

• All claims for compensation, including consequential damage, will not be entertained.
• Any repairs or replacement of components during the warranty period will not result in an extension of the warranty period.
• The warranty will expire if any alterations have been made, non-genuine components have been fitted, or if the grill has been repaired by a third party.
• Components subject to normal wear and tear, such as the racks, are not covered by the warranty.
• The warranty is only valid on presentation of the original, unaltered, and date-stamped purchase receipt.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by actions that deviate from those described in the user's manual or by neglect.
• Transportation costs and the risks involved during the transportation of the grill or components shall always be for the account of the purchaser.

To prevent unnecessary expenses, we recommend that you always carefully read the user's manual first. If this does not provide a solution, take the grill to your distributor for repair.

Secure hanging and disposal of used batteries
