IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.

NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a person who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1. For the first time use, fill the thermo jug with mix white vinegar and cold water, pour the mixture into the water tank and bring to boil, pour out the mixture and repeat the process until no yellow liquid comes out if necessary. Then fill the water tank with tap water only and brew until no vinegar odor is left.
2. Place the appliance on a clean and level surface and away from flammable things.
3. To add some coffee powder or tea during operation, always turn the power off and turn on after refilling.
4. If there is no water in the water tank, switch the power off, and do not switch on if the water tank is empty.
5. Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. Fill the thermo jug with clean and cold water.
2. Open the water tank cover and fill in with clean water from the thermo jug to the required level.
3. Please note that the lid should be tightened correctly. Place the thermo jug on its original position.
4. Put adequate coffee powder in the filter and place it back in the filter basket.
5. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket and switch it on, the indicator lights up and start working.
6. When the coffee is ready, turn off the device first and then remove the cup.
7. ANTI-DRIP VALVE: A cup may be served before all the coffee has been prepared. When the jug is removed from the hotplate the drip system is suspended temporarily. The jug must be replaced on the hotplate within 20seconds.
8. Once the preparation cycle has finished. Wait a minute until the drip has completely finished.
9. Keeping the jug on the hot plate will keep your coffee or tea warm.
10. Do not touch the hotplate right after operation, as it is still very hot.
11. Overheat heat protection by Thermo fuse: When turn on the appliance without water or after it finish brewing water, the temperature will increase and the Thermo fuse device will cut off the power automatically at the required temperature. In this case, unplugged the appliance at once.

Operation:

1. Uncover the top cover and fill clean water to required level.

1. Put adequate quantity of coffee powder or tealeaves in the filter cone.
2. Place the cups on the drip plate.
3. Place the tundish with the filtercone in the tundish support.
4. Close the top cover.
5. Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the machine begin working.
6. After boiling, when no water in tank, the coffee is ready.

Warning:

This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 2-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of this plug.

Danger of scalding:

Please use caution when using this coffee maker. The steam emitted from this aperture can be very hot.

Trouble Shooting

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside body of the appliance with damp cloth.
3. The removable items (filter, filter holder, drip tray) can be washed on hot spray water (or in a dishwasher).
4. Decaled your appliance regularly. With normal use, after decaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only water to rinse away the detergent remainders.
