USER MANUAL SF7646 ALPINA

1. Read all instructions carefully.

2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.

3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.

4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.

6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.

7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.

8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.

9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.

10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a person who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Parts Description:

1. Place the appliance on a clean and level surface, and away from flammable things.

2. Using your coffee maker for the first time, clean the unit & remove any label/sticker. Boil 3 cups of fresh

water without the coffee pad.

3. Fresh water: (18 ~ 30⁰C) to make the coffee. If the machine has no t been use for long time, wash the water

tank with fresh water and clean the coffee pad holder, brewing layer and other removable parts before using the machine.

4. Every time you use the machine, please warm it up by boiling 1 cup of fresh water.

5. Only use fresh and suitable coffee pod, it’s important to brew a pure, smooth taste coffee.

6. Use suitable coffee pod only. The weight of the coffee pod is 6 ~ 7grams / PC, of diameter 60 ~ 70mm.

2. Fill the water tank with clean water (18 ~ 30⁰C) and put it back into the coffee machine. FIG 2

Open the coffee making head. FIG 3

4. Take out the coffee pad holder. FIG 4

5. Put the coffee pod in the holder (1pc for 1 cup, 2pcs for 2 cups) and replace the pad to the machine. FIG 5ENGLISH

6. Lock the making head. FIG 6

7. Adjust the coffee outlet to proper height. FIG 7

8. Press On/Off switch to turn on the machine, the red boiler starts to boil the water; the red lights will flash for

40 seconds. When the set temperature is reached, the light will stop flashing. FIG 8

9. Press one cup/two cups button, the coffee will be made automatically. Water capacity is 100ml for 1 cup and

200ml for 2 cups. When the set quantity is reached, the machine will stop automatically. You can also stop the brewing by pressing the button again. FIG 9

This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 3-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of this plug. Danger of scalding: Please use caution when using the coffee maker. The steam emitted from this aperture can be very hot. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.

2. Removable items such as filter, filter holder, drip tray can be washed on hot spray water (or in a dishwasher).

3. Clean the outside body of the appliance with a soft damp cloth, and do not use scouring materials.

4. Use the wet cloth to clean the brewing head and the area around the rim. The coffee pod holder should be

cleaned each time after making the coffee by flashing the water through the holder without coffee pad. Don’t leave coffee pad in the pod holder.

5. DESCALING: After using the coffee machine every 2 ~ 3 months, there maybe some mineral deposits left in

the coffee machine, follow the steps below to clean the deposits

  • Fill the water tank with water not exceeding to the “MAX” level and put some coffee machine cleaning powder into the water then replace the water tank back to the coffee machine.
  • Put a cup under the coffee outlet, plug in the appliance and turn on the machine
  • When the water is boiled, press the button one cup or two cups.
  • When the water level reached to “MIN”, turn off the machine.

6. STORAGE: The coffee machine should be place in a place without direct sunshine. The environment

temperature is between 18 ~ 38⁰C.
