Before the first use, please read the manual carefully. Keep it for later reference and hand it over to its new owner, if you give the appliance to another person. Safety Precautions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• Connect the appliance to single-phase AC power supply of the voltage specified on the rating label.

• This heater is intended for indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial, household use only. Do not use outdoors. Do not use the heater for any other purpose.

• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

• Never leave this heater unattended while it is in use. Always turn the heater to the “OFF” position and GBunplug it from the electrical outlet when it is not in use.

• Extreme caution is necessary when this heater is used by or near children and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended. Keep the heater out of the reach of children and pets. This heater is not intended to use by children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.

• This heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the heater by a person responsible for their safety.

• Do not use the heater while sleeping or place it near a person who is sleeping.

• Place the heater on a flat, steady, stable, heat- resistant surface.

• Do not place the heater on or near surfaces that may be damaged by heat (i.e., delicate rugs, wall paper, floor coverings not made of heat-resistant material, etc.).

• Do not place this heater near flammable materials, surfaces or substances (i.e., curtains, draperies, walls, gasoline, paint, flammable liquids, etc.), as there may be a risk of fire.

• Do not insert or place flammable materials (i.e., paper, plastic, or cardboard) in, on or near the heater.

• Use the heater in a well-ventilated area.

• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, usehandles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the heater. Use protective oven mitts or gloves to avoid burns or serious personal injury.

• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside.

• Always maintain your distance from the heater while it is use to avoid serious burns and personal injury

• Never insert fingers, hair, metallic objects or any other item into the vents and openings of the heater, as an electrocution, fire, and/or burn hazard exists.

• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater.

• Never block the air openings of the heater or place it on a soft surface (i.e., a bed or a couch) where the air openings may be blocked. Wipe the air openings clean if they become clogged.

• Do not use this heater to dry or heat clothing, shoes, pipes, or any other item.

• Do not place or expose this heater to water or other liquids.

• Do not move the heater when it is heated. Allow the heater to thoroughly cool before handling it.

• Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

• To disconnect the heater, turn the controls to the “OFF” position, then remove the plug from theelectrical outlet. Disconnect the plug (do not pull on the power cord) from the electrical outlet.

• Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the heater manufacturer, as a risk of fire, electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result.

• Attachments, when furnished, may become hot during use. Allow any attachments to cool before handling them.

• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

• To avoid a circuit overload when using this heater, do not operate another high-wattage heater on the same electrical circuit.

• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.

• Do not allow the power cord to hang (i.e., over the edge of a table or counter) or place/run the Power Cord under rugs or in high-traffic areas where it may be tripped over or pulled.

• Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the heater, as the power cord could fray and break.

• Do not plug or unplug the heater from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.

• Keep the power cord and heater away from heated surfaces.

• Please refrain from further usage if the power cord, power plug or the appliance are damaged and contact your seller.

• The heater must not be located immediately belowa socket-outlet.

• When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.

• The heater should not be used in a room, of which the floor area is less than 5 m².

• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

• To avoid the risk of electrical shock, fire or injury to persons, always make sure that the heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating, servicing or cleaning it.

• The use of accessory not recommended by the manufacturer, e.g. time switches, may cause harm.

Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do

not cover the heater! Components

afety Control (Thermal Cut-Out) This model has two levels of over heat protection:

1) Automatic thermal cut-off: Switches off the heater in the event of overheating or malfunction and resets

once the temperature drops to a normal level.

2) Thermal fuse: In the event that the automatic thermal cut-off fails to operate the heater has a further

safety device. This is a non-resettable switch which will require the unit be returned to an Approved Service Agent for replecement. If overheating or malfunctions continue, return the heater to your retailer for examination. Operation Place the heater in an upright position on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure there is nothing flammable or heat sensitive within 1 meter (40 inches). Operating the heater in any other position could cause a hazard. Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet on an A.C. power supply having the same voltage as that show on it’s rating label after turning the thermostat knob counter-clockwise to the minimum position

6 Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to maximum position. When the temperature rises to with a comfortable level, slowly turn thermostat counter-clockwise until the power indicator light just goes out. To adjust the room temperature turn the thermostat clockwise to raise the temperature, or counter-clockwise to lower it. Your unit will be automatically set an on-and-off cycle to maintain the current room temperature according to thermostat setting. (Note: It normally requires approx. 15 minutes to reach the operating temperature.) To turn the appliance off, turn the thermostat to "O" and remove plug from the wall socket. Unplug the heater from the electrical outlet when it is left unattended or is not in use. Care and Cleaning CAUTION: Allow the heater to completely cool before handling or cleaning it. Ensure the heater is in the “O” OFF position and the Power Cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning the heater.

• Always ensure the heater’s housing is intact and completely assembled before each use.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the heater. Use protective mitts or gloves to avoid serious burns or other personal injury.

• Clean the exterior surface of the heater by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. CAUTION: Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the interior of the heater, as this could create a fire and/or electrical hazard.

• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents, as heater damage will occur.

• Store the heater in a clean, dry place when it is not in use. • You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).

• A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.

• Defects in wear parts, consumables, as well as cleaning, maintenance or replacement of said parts are therefore with costs.

• Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.

• In the event that the complaint case is analogous to our terms of service, all defects of the device or its accessories due to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated by repair or, at our discretion, replacing the unit.

• The damage of accessories does not automatically lead to a free exchange of the whole device. In these cases, please contact your dealer. Glass breakage, or breakage of plastic parts are always to charge.

• The dealer or repair service can perform the repair after the expiration of warranty against charge. Note concerning protection of environment This product must not be disposed of via normal household waste after its service life, but must be taken to a collection station for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicates such disposal procedures. The materials are recyclable in accordance with their respective symbols. By means of re-use, material recycling or any other form of recycling old appliances you are making an important contribution to the protection of our environment. Please ask your local council where your nearest disposal station is located. As part of our extended producer responsibility, this product is indicated in accordance to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The aim is to avoid, reduce, and environmentally friendly disposal of electronic waste. Please help actively to protect the environment and dispose electronic waste through local collection points. Warranty-Card For this appliance we assure 24 months warranty. During the 24 months warranty we guarantee to repair your appliance free of charge or to provide your seller the spare parts free of charge if the appliance fails to work due to production failure. Other claims are excluded from this warranty. We will not be liable for any defects caused by acts of nature, improper use, neglection of the instruction manual, damage from continuous use and damages during transportation.
