This vehicle is intended for children from birth up to a maximum user weight of 15kg.

This product is only compatible with Hold car seat (sold separately).

The child should be clear of moving parts while making adjustments. This vehicle requires regular maintenance by the user.

Do not use replacement parts or accessories other than those approved by Cosatto as they may render the pushchair unsafe.

Overloading, incorrect folding, and the use of non-approved accessories or spare parts may damage or break this pushchair and could render the product unsafe. Read the instructions.

A basket is provided for the carriage of 2kg of goods, evenly distributed.

A mesh pocket is provided at the rear of seat unit for carriage of 500g of goods, evenly distributed.

Any additional load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest and/or on the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle.

Do not use a platform with this product as it may render the product unsafe.

Never leave raincovers on indoors, in a hot atmosphere or near a heat source as the baby could overheat.

Ensure all users are familiar with the products operation. It should always open and fold easy. If it does not, do not force the mechanism - stop and read the instructions.

Do not use your pushchair in a manner for which it is not designed.

Ensure your child wears a correctly fitted and adjusted harness at all times. D-rings are provided on the existing harness for the attachment of a separate safety harness approved to BS EN 13210 should this be required. GB• Do not allow your child to climb unassisted into, play with or hang onto your pushchair.

Always apply the brakes when the pushchair is stationary. Hold on to your pushchair when close to moving road vehicles or trains. Even with the brake on the draught from the vehicle may move the pushchair.

Exercise caution when mounting or dismounting a kerb. Remove your child and fold the pushchair when ascending or descending stairs or escalators.

Ensure the folded pushchair is stored away from children so that it does not fall and cause injury.

Never carry a second child on the product.

Be aware of the risk of open fire and other source of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc, in the near vicinity of carry cot.

Use only on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.

This carry cot complies to BS EN 1466:2004 +A1 2007. car seat (sold separately)

When car seat is used in conjunction with the chassis, this product does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in suitable cot, bed or carry cot.

Cosatto recommend that the child should always be facing the parent when the car seat is fitted to the chassis.list of parts Your pushchair is supplied in one carton. Some parts are packed inside the carry cot.

Note: Remove all cable ties securing parts before assembly. Note: Wheels are shrink wrapped to protect cleanliness. Do not remove until you are satisfied with the product. If removed, we regret we may not accept as non-faulty return.

1 - opening the chassis

Lay the chassis on clean floor (a). Pull the front legs forward until a “click” is heard and the legs are locked in place (b). Lift the handle upwards until a “click” is heard and the handle arms are locked in place (c).

WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.

2 - fitting the rear wheels

To fit a rear wheel insert the pin into the wheel housing (a) until it locks in place. Repeat this with the other rear wheel. Note: Before use try to pull the wheels back to ensure they are securely locked in place. To remove the rear wheels, press down on the levers at the bottom of the wheel housings (b) and pull the wheels clear.

3 - fitting the front wheel assembly

To fit the front wheel assembly insert the pin at the top of the wheel assembly into the wheel housing (a) until it locks in place. Note: Before use try to pull the wheels down to ensure they are securely locked in place. To remove the wheel assembly, push the button on the front of the wheel housing (b) and remove the wheel assembly from the housing (c).

4 - using the parking brake

To apply the brake, lift the brake lever (a) until a “click” is heard and the brakes are applied. Test the brake is engaged correctly by trying to push the pushchair forwards for a short distance. To release the brake, squeeze the button (b) on the side of the brake lever housing. NOTE: Always apply brake before loading or unloading a child from the pushchair.

5 - using the swivel wheel lock

Lift the lever (a). Swivel the wheel until it locks in the forward facing position. The wheel will now only travel straight ahead (b). Press down on the lever (c) to release the lock. The wheel will now swivel from side to side (d).

6 - fitting the basket

Place the basket over the frame. Note: The narrow end of the basket fits to the front. Fasten the 3 poppers at the front (a). Fasten the 3 poppers at the rear (b). Fasten the fastener straps around frame near the centre hinges (c). Re-fitting is a reversal of this procedure.7 - adjusting the height of the handle Press the button (a) in the centre of the handle and lift the handle (b) or lower the handle (c) as required. Release the button when the handle is in the desired position.

8 - reversing the handle position

The handle position can be reversed. This is useful if the pushchair is used on uneven ground. As this may make the pushchair harder to steer so Cosatto recommend returning the handle to its original position for use on a flat surface. To reverse the handle position, simultaneously lift the levers (a) and push the handle forward (b) until a “click” is heard and the handle is locked in the reverse position. Note: The handle will need to be raised (See step 7) if the seat unit is fitted.

9 - folding the chassis

Before folding the chassis ensure the front wheel swivel locks are released (See Step 5). Ensure the handle is not in the reversed position. When first folded the handle should locate between the large wheels (d). Press the button (a) in the centre of the handle and push the handle down (b) to its lowest position. Simultaneously lift the levers (c) then push the handle down (d) as far as it will go. Push the folding button, marked with a 1, with your thumb (e) whilst lifting the folding handle, marked with a 2, (f). Lift the chassis off the floor slightly to allow the front legs to fold inwards (g) to complete folding process.

10 - erecting the carry cot

Slide the frame bars, using the straps (a), until the frame bars fit into the cut-outs in the carry cot base (b). Fit the carry cot liner to the carry cot by attaching the zip fasteners (d & e). Note: The carry cot has two sets of zips around the top edge. Fit the carry cot liner to the lower zip. The top zips are for the carry cot apron and the carry cot hood. Place the mattress in the carry cot (f). Turn the carry cot mountings downwards (g) until they lock in place.

11 - fitting and removing the carry cot

Place the carry cot on to the mounting points on each side of the chassis. Push down (a) until a “click” is heard and the mountings are locked in place. Note: The carry cot can only be fitted rearward facing. To remove the carry cot from the chassis, press the buttons on each side of the mountings (b) then lift the carry cot free (c).

12 - using the carry cot

Zip the carry cot apron to the carry cot (a) and secure both ends of the apron flap (b) to the hinge by fasten the press studs. To lift the carry cot hood press the buttons (c) on each hinge then lift the hood upwards (d). To lower the hood, press the buttons (e) on each hinge then push the hood downwards (f). The frame at the top of the hood can be used as a carrying handle (g).

13 - fitting the carry cot raincover

Lay the raincover over the carry cot as shown. Attach the fastener straps under the pushchair handle hinge (a). There is a flap on top of the raincover to allow access to the carry cot handle (b). Unfasten the zips around the raincover to allow access to inside the carry cot (c). Refasten the zips to close the raincover insuring the zips meet centrally at the top of the handle (d).14 - assembling the seat unit Unfold the seat (a). Press the buttons (b) on each sides of the footrest then lift the footrest to its highest position (c). Push the lower arms into the hinge assembly (d) until the spring loaded pins locate in the holes in the lower arms (e). Fasten the fastener flap (f) over the support bar under the seat and secure both ends of the flap with press studs (g).

15 - fitting and removing the seat unit

Place the seat unit on to the mounting points on each side of the chassis. Push down (a) until a “click” is heard and the mountings are locked in place. To remove the seat unit from the chassis, press the buttons on each side of the mountings (b) then lift the seat unit free (c). The seat unit can be fitted facing forwards (1) or backwards (2) and backwards (3) or forwards (4) with the handle reversed.

16 - fitting and removing the seat unit hood

Fitting the hood for the first time: Push the arms of the hood into the mountings on the pushchair (a). Fasten the zip (b) to secure the hood to the pushchair frame. Removing the hood: IMPORTANT unfasten the zip around the pushchair frame BEFORE removing the hood (c). Pull the hood mountings off the fitting on pushchair handle hinge (d). Fitting the hood: Push the hood mountings onto the fitting on pushchair handle hinge (e) until they lock in place. Fasten the zip (b) to secure the hood to the pushchair frame.

17 - using the seat unit hood

Pull the hood forward (a) to the raised position. Pull the hood forward again (b) to its extended position. Push the hood back to lower (c). Fasten the toggle then push the hood back again to fully close. The hood mounting bar can be used to make cleaning the hood easier. Remove the hood from the pushchair (See Step 16). IMPORTANT unfasten the zip around the pushchair frame BEFORE removing the hood. Push the hood mounting bar off the hood mounts (d). Slide the hood mounting bar out of the hood (e). Refitting is a reversal of this procedure. Ensure the mounting bar is fitted in the correct orientation.

18 - using the harness

A five point harness is provided to restrain your child. To unfasten push the button on the buckle (a) and pull the clips clear. To fasten the harness push the shoulder strap clips onto the waist strap clips (b) then push the waist strap clips into the buckle until they lock in place (c). Sliding adjusters are fitted on the shoulder straps, waist straps and crotch strap (d). The harness should be carefully adjusted so that it fits your child comfortably. To adjust to the smallest size on the waist strap you will need to thread the adjusters through the “D” ring. To adjust the shoulder strap height, unzip the liner on the back of the seat, locate the strap ends (e) and pass through the slots, reposition to the desired height and pass the strap ends back through relevant slot. To remove the harness unzip the liner on the back of the seat, locate the strap ends (e & f) and pass through the slots. Under the seat, pass the crotch strap end through its slot (g). The harness can now be removed from the seat. Refitting the harness is a reversal of this procedure. ‘D’ rings are fitted at the end of each waist strap should you wish to attach a separate harness complying to BS EN 13210.To remove or fit the chest pads unclip the buckle and remove the shoulder strap clips from the waist strap clips and slide the chest pads on or off the straps.

19 - adjusting the footrest

To adjust the position of the footrest, lift or lower (a & b) the footrest whilst pressing the buttons on both sides (c). Release the buttons when the footrest is in the required position.

20 - fitting, removing and opening the bumper bar

Fit the bumper bar by pushing each end into the seat unit mountings until the buttons lock in place (a). To remove the bumper bar press the button (b) on each side and lift the bumper bar ends off both mountings (c). Before placing your child in the push chair seat, open the bumper bar to gain access. Press the button on one side and lift the bumper bar end off the mounting. At the other end of the bumper bar press the button on the side then swivel the bumper bar to one side (d). Refit the bumper bar when your child is securely fastened in the seat.

21 - adjusting the seat position

The seat unit has 4 recline positions. Squeeze the lever (a) under the seat frame at the top of the seat. Raise or lower the seat to the desired position then release the lever.

WARNING: Never adjust the seat unit with your child in the seat.

22 - fitting the footmuff

Remove the chest pads and the crotch pad (a) by unclipping the buckle and sliding the pads off the straps. Remove the bumper bar if fitted (See step 20). Remove the footmuff cover by releasing the poppers (b) on each side and unfastening the zips (c). Place the footmuff on the pushchair seat and pass the shoulders straps (d), the waist straps (e), and the crotch strap (f) through the slots in the footmuff liner. Feed the fastener tabs through the slots in the top of the pushchair seat (g) and fasten behind. Refit the chest pads, crotch strap and footmuff cover. The bib of the footmuff cover can be folded over and fastened with the poppers at the side (h). Refit the bumper bar. Note: The footmuff liner is reversible.

23 - fitting the seat raincover

Place the raincover over the pushchair as shown. The hole at the rear top of the raincover should align with the seat position adjuster (a). Stretch the lower section over the footrest (b) and secure underneath (c). Fasten the zip at the rear of the raincover to secure (d).

24 - fitting the child car seat (purchased separately)

Note: The child car seat mounting adaptors are supplied with the Ooba TS. Fit the mounting adaptors to the mounts on each side of the pushchair chassis. Push down until the mounting adaptors lock in place (a). Important: The mounting adaptors are handed and can only be fitted one way. The release buttons (b) should be facing to the front of the pushchair. Place the child car seat on to the mounting adaptors on each side of the chassis. Push down until the child car seat locks in place (c).25 - removing the car seat Push the car seat buttons (a) and lift the car seat off the pushchair (b). To remove the car seat mounting adaptors press the release buttons (c) and lift the mounting adaptors off the pushchair (d). Store the mounting adaptors in a safe place for future use. care Your pushchair has been designed to meet safety standards and with correct use and maintenance will give many years of trouble free performance. The chassis is strong but will weaken should the back wheel be bumped down stairs or kerbs. Continual impact will cause damage. If your child wears hard shoes these might damage the soft fabric. Store your pushchair in a dry, safe place. Storing a damp pushchair will encourage mildew to form. After exposure to damp conditions, dry off with a soft cloth, open fully and allow to dry thoroughly before storing. Do not leave the pushchair in sunlight for prolonged periods - some fabrics may fade. maintenance This pushchair requires regular maintenance by the user. Regularly inspect the locking devices, brakes, wheels, harness assembly, catches, seat adjusters, joints and fixtures to ensure they are secure and in full working order. They should be free to move at all times. Cosatto products are designed to operate with minimum maintenance, however regular lubrication of moving parts will extend the life of your pushchair and make opening and folding easier. Should parts of your pushchair become stiff or difficult to operate, apply a light application of a spray lubricant e.g. silicone. Do not use oil or grease. Wheels are subject to wear and should be replaced if necessary. Your pushchair should be serviced and reconditioned before using it for a second baby, or after 18 months, whichever is the sooner. cleaning The carry cot hood may be cleaned by sponging lightly using warm water and a mild detergent. Plastic and metal parts may be sponged clean with warm water and a mild detergent. Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
