Before use, carefully read these instructions and always keep them within reach.

A suitable installation and a rational operation, in accordance with these instructions will enable a more profitable use of the cabinet.

Basic Instructions

  • Before connecting the cabinet, check whether there as been any damage to the cable and plug during transport.
  • This device belongs to climatic class 3 (indicated in the plate of characteristics) for what the allowable room temperature in which the device should function will have to be between +16^ and +32^ .
  • Never disconnect the cabinet from the power point by pulling the power cable. Use the ribbed area to grip the plug.
  • Inspect the inside of the refrigerator and check whether the lamp or fan protections have not fallen or been broken. If so, disconnect the refrigerator immediately and put them back in place immediately or call the technical departments.
  • Do not touch the cabinet with wet or damp hands or feet.
  • Never leave the cabinet exposed to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).
  • This device is not foreseen to be used by people (including children) whose physical capacities, sensorial or mental are reduced, or people with lack of experience or knowledge, except if they will be able to benefit, through a responsible person for its security, of a monitoring or previous instructions relative to the use of the device.
  • The children must be supervised to assure that they do not use the device as a toy
  • After use, this cabinet may become dangerous. The doors should be locked or the cabinet should be stored away so as to prevent access to it. The cooling fluid shall be recovered by a specialized technician and not released into the atmosphere and the power cable must be cut after having unplugged it from the power point.
  • Never try to repair the cabinet.

Environmental information

This appliance is labeled in accordance with European Directive 2002/96/CE concerning used electrical and electronic appliances (waste electrical and electronic equipment - WEEA). The guideline determines the framework for the return and recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU.

Installation

Unpacking the cabinet

Take off the plastic packing and remove the protections and pallet.

- In order to allow a natural circulation of air you must leave sufficient space between the rear of the cabinet and the wall, apply in the upper backside the two handles that are supplied.

As applicable:

  • Place the two levies M8 underneath the front of the cabinet simply by screwing in the two holes.
  • Apply the four feet of 150mm with a key 10.
  • Place the handle (there is inside the cabinet) in the door of the cabinet, for that tighten the screws.
  • Pull the electrical cable through the opening in the rear grille.
    The weight limit for each shelve should be 40kg / m2

Locating the cabinet

  • Set the cabinet on the level using the leveling feet or the adjustable feet.
  • The cabinet should be located in a dry place, on a horizontal surface which can support its weight when fully loaded.

  • Avoid moving the cabinet when it is fully loaded.

If the cable is not long enough, it should be replaced by a skilled person (see 7.4). Do not use an extension or adapter cable.

Control

Starting

  • If the cabinet has been transported horizontally, it should be left to rest for at least an hour before being connected.
  • Put the cabinet in place while leaving a space of 3 to 5cm between the cabinet and any other furniture or wall, so that there is a natural air flow, and in a spot where the surrounding temperature is between +16^ and +32^ .
  • Connect to a power point, push the ON/OFF button and leave the cabinet working for 2 to 3 hours, so as to make sure that it is operating normally.

N.B: Before being connected, the cabinet must be cleaned with a detergent for washing dishes; do not use corrosive products or soap. Then dry carefully. To carry out this operation is obligatory to switch off the equipment by removing the plug from the outlet.

Operation

  • If the information in the display shows "OFF", press the ON/OFF switch for 3 seconds.
  • Wait about 3 minutes before the compressor starts after connecting the cabinet.
  • To disconnect, push off the main switch ON/OFF (the display will show "OFF") or simply unplug the cabinet.
  • Wait 10 minutes before reconnecting the cabinet.
  • Load the cabinet in such a way that the products are carefully stocked.
    The digital thermostat allows adjusting the temperature from +1^ to +10^ in the positive models and -10^ to -22^ in the negative models
  • The thermostat is factory locked, only permits to adjust the desired temperature (set point).
    To program the desired temperature, press ON/OFF + ▲ or▼ buttons.

To lock the keyboard again proceed as stated above and select "YES" in the "LOC" function.
- The display will indicate the temperature of the cabinet.
N.B.: The differential has been regulated at 3^ in the plant.
- When loading the cabinet in its totality it is possible that the alarm begins to ring after 2 hours if the cabinet has not reached yet the programmed temperature. Push any button to turn off the buzzer and await 12 hours for stabilization of the temperature. In case the programmed temperature has not been reached in this space of time, contact our technical services.

Defrosting

  • On these models, the defrosting is manual.
    Unplug the cabinet.
  • Remove the outlet stopper; place a container underneath and wait for the ice to thaw. (DO NOT USE HOT WATER)

Breakdowns

The appliance is not working
