  • Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully.
  • Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging!
  • The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use!
  • Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
  • In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the devi- ce. Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang down.
  • Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used.
  • Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorised expert.
  • For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similary qualified person.
  • Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike.

  • The balance was designed to indicate precisely the increase in or the loss of weight.
  • Position the balance on a hard, flat surface (avoid carpets). Uneven floors lead to imprecise readings.
  • Switch the balance on by pressing lightly with your foot on the right side of the button.
  • 3 digit lines will appear soon after on the display to indicate that it is activated. Soon „0.0“ (kg) will appear.
  • Step on the balance. Distribute your weight equally on the balance and wait for the balance to calculate your weight.Your exact weight will then be displayed.
  • The balance shuts off automatically thus lengthening the life of the batteries. Usage and care tips
  • Weigh yourself without any clothes or shoes on before meals and always at the same hour of the day. The best time to weigh yourself is when you wake up in the morning.
  • The balance rounds off weight to the closest 0.5 kg.
  • If you weigh yourself twice and two different values are given, it means that your weight is comprised between both values.
  • Do not immerse the balance in water: the electronic components can be dama- ged.
  • Never place the balance in an upright position while it is not being used, as it may lead to the rapid discharging of the batterie.
  • Remove the batterie if the balance is not to be used for a long period of time.
  • Handle the balance with care, as it is a precise measuring instrument. Do not drop it or jump on it.
  • Absolutely no need for maintenance.
  • If the display shows "LO", change the batteries.
  • Do not load the appliance with more than 120 kg to avoid damaging the device. Cleaning
  • Only use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit.
