How to connect the tweeter: 'display' or 'car' wire?

For installation in a vehicle, connect the wire marked 'car'. The 'display' wire is reserved for use on a demonstration display. The unmarked wire is common ground.

Can I remove the rubber motor cover of the woofer?

Yes, in very compact spaces, it is possible to remove the rubber motor cover to gain depth. Make sure the woofer is well protected from dust.

How to fix the woofer in the original location?

The woofer comes with mounting clips. You can position them at 180° for Renault vehicles for example, or choose front or rear mounting depending on available space.

What is the warranty of the Focal Universal ISN 100?

In France, the warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase, non-transferable in case of resale. Outside France, conditions are set by the local official Focal distributor.

How to maintain the speakers?

Avoid exposure to moisture and metal shavings during mounting. Gently clean the cones with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical products.

Can I use the kit without a passive crossover?

The Universal ISN 100 kit includes a passive crossover in the wiring, usually located near the tweeter. It is essential for frequency separation; do not remove it.

The ISN 130 woofer comes with clips for front or rear mounting. It some cases 2/3 fixing clips can be used (for example 2 clips at 180^ on Renault® vehicles).

3/ Accessories

These kits are made to fit into the original locations more easily and are sold without grills (mounting n the door).

A Focal signature is included in each kit (diamond-cut aluminum support + adhesive). This signature can be fixed inside the door of your vehicle for example.
