• Before connecting the appliance to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.

• For safety reasons, this class II appliance is provided with double or reinforced insulation as indicated by the symbol .

• This appliance is not intended for use by per- sons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi- ence and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appli- ance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the sup- ply when unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

• Switch o the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or ap- proaching parts that move in use.

• When using attachments, make sure they are connected properly and securely.

• Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.

• This appliance is only intended for fruit press- ing. Do not use any other ingredients with the appliance, in order to avoid hazardous situations.

• The appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, and bed and breakfast type environments.

• Regularly check if the supply cord, appliance or extension cable are defective. If found defective, do not put appliance into operation. Immediately pull the plug.

• Place the supply cord or any extension cord in a way that pulling or tripping over it is impossible. Do not allow the supply cord to hang down within easy reach.

• Never carry or pull the appliance by the supply cord. Do not pull the supply cord over sharp edges. Do not jam or bend it.

• Do not exceed the quantities and processing times indicated in this manual.

• Do not use attachments other than recom- mended by the manufacturer or specified in this manual.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended while turned on or plugged in.

• Never put the appliance or supply cord on hot surfaces or near open flames.

• Switch the appliance o and disconnect the plug from the mains when not in use.

• Never pull the plug by the supply cord or with wet hands. Disconnect the mains plug in case of faults during use, before cleaning or moving the appliance, and after use.

• Do not operate the appliance by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.13

1. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply.

2. Clean the base unit with a slightly damp,

lint-free cloth. Do not immerse in water.

3. Clean the attachments thoroughly using

If necessary, fit the large juicer cone on top of the small cone.

4. Push the spout upwards to keep extracted

juice in the container. Push downwards to collect juice into an external container.

5. Cut fruit in half and lightly press them onto

the juicer cone; drive shaft will start rotat- ing. Release pressure to stop.

6. If the appliance is not use, clean it, remove

plug and attach the cover to the base unit.

Place the pulp sieve on the juice con- tainer. Fit desired juicer cone to the drive shaft. Extract to juice container. Extract to external container. Attach cover after use.15
