• Before connecting the appliance to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
  Always disconnect the appliance from the supply when unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
• When using attachments, make sure they are connected properly and securely.
• Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.

• This appliance is only intended for fruit pressing. Do not use any other ingredients with the appliance, in order to avoid hazardous situations.
  Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface.
  The appliance is not intended for outdoor use.

• The appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, and bed and breakfast type environments.

• Regularly check if the supply cord, appliance or extension cable are defective. If found defective, do not put appliance into operation. Immediately pull the plug.
• Place the supply cord or any extension cord in a way that pulling or tripping over it is impossible. Do not allow the supply cord to hang down within easy reach.
• Never carry or pull the appliance by the supply cord. Do not pull the supply cord over sharp edges. Do not jam or bend it.

• Do not exceed the quantities and processing times indicated in this manual.

• Do not use attachments other than recommended by the manufacturer or specified in this manual.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended while turned on or plugged in.

• Never put the appliance or supply cord on hot surfaces or near open flames.
• Switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug from the mains when not in use.
• Never pull the plug by the supply cord or with wet hands. Disconnect the mains plug in case of faults during use, before cleaning or moving the appliance, and after use.
• Do not operate the appliance by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Intended use

This appliance is only intended for juicing citrus fruits. Only use according to these instructions. Improper use is dangerous and will void any warranty claim. Observe the safety instructions.

Disposal

(WEEE). Electric and electronic equipment may contain dangerous and hazardous substances. Do not dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more information.

Thanks for your purchase of a KOENIC product. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

Before first time use

Before using the juicer, it must be cleaned as described in Cleaning and care.

Juicing

1. Attach juice container to the drive shaft of the base unit.
2. Place the pulp sieve on the juice container.
3. Fit the small juicer cone onto the drive shaft. If necessary, fit the large juicer cone on top of the small cone.
4. Push the spout upwards to keep extracted juice in the container. Push downwards to collect juice into an external container.
5. Cut fruit in half and lightly press them onto the juicer cone; drive shaft will start rotating. Release pressure to stop.
6. If the appliance is not use, clean it, remove plug and attach the cover to the base unit.

Cleaning and care

1. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply.
2. Clean the base unit with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not immerse in water.
3. Clean the attachments thoroughly using warm water and a mild detergent. The pulp sieve may also be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Place the juice container onto the base unit.

Place the pulp sieve on the juice container.

Fit desired juicer cone to the drive shaft.

Plug in the appliance.

Extract to juice container.

Extract to external container.

After use unplug the appliance.

Attach cover after use.
