SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General Information

1. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
2. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
3. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
4. Children shall not play with the appliance.
5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: Staff kitchen areas in shop, offices and other working environment; Farm houses; By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments.
7. Read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
8. Only use the appliance as described in this manual.
9. In case of damage caused by failure of not living up to this manual the warranty will decay immediately. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to not living up the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.
10. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
11. Always remove the power cord and let it cool: Before moving the unit; Before the unit is stored; Before you go

mounting or dismantle parts; Before cleaning or maintenance work; After use.

1. Only have the appliance repaired by a qualified service centre.
2. Qualified service center: after-sales service of the manufacturer/importer, which is qualified to carry out repair to avoid any kind of danger. In case of problems please return the appliance to this service.

Electricity and heat

1. Before use, check that the mains power supply voltage is the same and the voltage is the same as the voltage indicated on the appliance.
2. Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.
3. Regularly check the power cord for damage.
4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to manufacturer or the nearest authorized service agent for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
5. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
6. Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces or steam.
7. Always remove the plug from the plug socket before you move the appliance.
8. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer-switch or by means of a separate system with remote control.
9. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.

10. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage appliance on the same circuit.

11. To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or housing in water or other liquid.

12. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and do not use it again.
13. Do not use the appliance close to hot objects such as a stove or oven.

Using the appliance

1. The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

2. Only use the appliance indoors, in dry areas away from water.

3. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!

4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces.

5. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface from which it cannot fall of.

6. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance surface, not on varnished furniture.

7. Place the appliance at least 5cm of the wall or flammable objects (such as curtains, candles or towels).

8. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface and not close to hot objects or open flames (e.g. hotplates).

9. Disconnect the mains plug: after each time operating; if there is any interference with operation; before cleaning.

10. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

11. Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or plug show signs of damage, if the appliance has fallen on the floor or has other parts been damage. In such cases take the appliance to a specialist for checking and repair is necessary.

12. Children are unable to recognize the hazards associated with incorrect handling of electrical appliances. Therefore, children should never use electric household appliances unsupervised.

13. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.

14. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

15. It is necessary to keep this appliance clean because it is in direct contact with food.

16. Unplug from outlet while not in use and let the appliance to cool down, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

17. Never use accessories, which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

18. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.

19. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

20. Avoid contacting with moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to the mixer....& the power cord and plug do not come in contact with water.

21. Blades are sharp, handle carefully.

22. The mixer for blending cannot be used for blending hard and dry substance, otherwise the blade could be blunted.

23. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.

24. Shut down the product before changing accessories or approaching the parts which are moving during operation.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• All parts of the stand mixer are to be thoroughly cleaned before being used for the first time.
- Before assembling the mixer, be sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet and the speed selector is in the "OFF" position.
- Press the tilt button, the head of mixer will automatically release and lock into tilted position.
- Select the desired attachments, which are depending on the mixing task to be performed: beater for mixing and beating egg, and dough hook for kneading, the whisk for beating and frothing egg white.
- Inserting the mixer blade/dough blade/whisk directly onto the blade connector (make sure the mixer blade/dough blade/whisk is completely get through the outshoot of the blade connector, then turn it in anticlockwise direction until it locks firmly).

Note: Ensure the beater or dough hook or whisk is fully inserted into the socket and locked firmly, otherwise your mixing results may be affected.

- Place bowl on position. First place the bowl on the base, then turn the bowl in clockwise until it lock into position.

- Assemble the bowl cover onto the top of the bowl.

- To lower the head, press the tilt switch, then place mixer blade/dough blade/whisk into the bowl by holding the head with the one hand and ease the head down. A click sound will be heard when the head has reached the correct position.

- Ensure that the speed selector is at the "OFF" position, then plug in the power source.

- Turn the speed selector to your desired setting.

Warning: Do not stick knife, metal spoons, fork and so on into bowl when operating.

- The max operation time per time shall not exceed 5 minutes and minimum 20 minutes rest time must be maintained between two consecutive cycles. When kneading yeast dough, first use a low speed and then use high speed to achieve the best results.

Note: during kneading, some flour may be adhered on the inside of the bowl, you shall remove the bowl cover, and scrape the flour on the inside wall of bowl by spatula to obtain well kneading results.

- When mixing is completed, turn the speed selector to "OFF" position, unplug the cord from power outlet.

- Hold down the tilt button, the head of the mixer will automatically lift and lock into the tilted position.

- If necessary you can scrape the excess food particles from the beaters or dough hooks by plastic spatula. Caution: The speed selector must be at "OFF" position and the power outlet must be unplugged before pulling out the beater/dough hook/whisk.

APPLICATION

To mix or knead dough:

• Suggestion flour and water at a ratio of 5:3.
• From lower speed for mix 20s and medium speed for about 3 minutes.
• When filling the mixing bowl, please ensure that the maximum quality is not exceeded.
  • Maximum quantity of flour is 500g.
• The dough blade or mixer blade should be used.

Whipping egg whites or cream:

• Switch on medium speed or high speed, whip the egg whites without stopping for maximum 5 minutes, according to the size of the eggs, until stiff.
  • Maximum quantity 19 eggs.
• For whipped cream, whip 250ml fresh cream at medium or high speed for maximum 5 minutes.
• When filling the mixing bowl with fresh milk, cream or other ingredients, please ensure that the maximum quality is not exceeded.
• The whisk should be used.

Mixing shakes, cocktails or other liquids:

• Mix the ingredients according to the available recipe, for about 5 minutes.
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity (4L) for the mixing bowl.
• The mixer blade should be used.
  • Maximum operating time 5 minutes.

CLEANING

• Before cleaning, please ensure that the switch knob is at the "OFF" position and that the plug has been disconnected from the socket.
  • After use, allow the device to cool down before you start to clean it.
  • To clean the exterior of the device, use a moist cloth and a mild detergent.
• When cleaning the interior and exterior and protective dust cover, do not use any abrasive detergents or alcohol.
• To clean the device, never submerge it in water.
• Do not use any abrasive detergents.
• Do not clean any parts in dishwasher.

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can't claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable.

Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
