Frequently Asked Questions - Dynamic iPower BEEM

How to fill the water tank?
Open the tank cover, tilt the appliance backwards and pour tap or demineralized water up to the MAX mark using the measuring cup. Close the cover.
What type of water to use for steam?
Use tap water with hardness up to 17°dH. For harder water, mix equal parts with demineralized water. Pure demineralized water extends the lifespan.
How to activate the steam function?
Set the temperature to •• or higher, wait for the indicator light to flash, then turn the steam regulator to adjust the amount. The iron produces steam in horizontal position.
Why are water drops coming out of the soleplate?
This may be due to too low temperature, overfilled tank, or too frequent pressing of the steam burst. Set the temperature higher, drain some water, or space out the presses.
How to clean the soleplate?
Clean it with a soft damp cloth after cooling. Do not use abrasive products. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
How to perform self-cleaning?
Fill the tank halfway with demineralized water. Set the temperature to MAX, let it heat up, then turn off and unplug. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink and press the self-cleaning button until water flows out.
What to do if the iron does not produce steam?
Check the water level, temperature (must be sufficient for steam), and that the steam regulator is not set to 0. If necessary, perform a self-cleaning to remove scale.
How to store the iron after use?
Set the temperature to OFF, unplug, empty the tank, let it cool completely, then store it upright (on the heel) in a dry, frost-free place.
The iron turns off by itself, is this normal?
Yes, it is a safety feature: the appliance automatically turns off when you release the handle. To turn it back on, grip the handle again.
How to avoid burn marks on laundry?
Set the appropriate temperature for the fabric (check the care label). Start with a low temperature for delicate textiles and increase if necessary. Do not leave the iron stationary on the fabric.

The appliance is equipped with an electronic temperature setting, which reliably sets and maintains the selected temperature.

The appliance is equipped with an automatic safety switch-off. Both function when the appliance is in a horizontal or vertical position.

When you insert the plug into the - mains socket, the appliance begins to heat up and the control indicator (11) lights up. When the set temperature has been reached, the control indicator (11) flashes - the appliance is on standby.

When your grip the handle (6), the - appliance switches itself on (automatic switch-on, fig. A) and the control indicator (11) lights up continuously.

When you let go of the handle (6), - the appliance switches itself off (automatic safety switch-off, fig. B) and the control indicator (11) flashes.

To reactivate the appliance, you must grip the handle (6) again and it will switch itself on.

The anti-drip system prevents water from dripping out of the ironing sole at low temperatures.
The appliance slides smoothly over the fabric due to the ceramic coating of the ironing sole (16).
The anti-liming system of the appliance removes calcification from the water if you use tap water for steam ironing instead of distilled water (Filling with water section).
The self-cleaning function removes calcium residues from the appliance, see Cleaning and care section.

Operation and use

Dry ironing

Turn the steam flow regulator (3) to position 0.

During heating up, make sure that the appliance is placed upright on an even surface.

NOTE

Upright steam ironing is suitable for hanging textiles (coats, suits, curtains) and for removing creases.

Only hang the washing to be ironed where heat and humidity cannot cause damage, NOT in front of wallpaper, windows or mirrors for example.

The appliance produces turbo steam for upright steam ironing. This has a separate pipe and is only discharged from the front part of the ironing sole.
