How to fill the water tank?
Remove the tank by pushing it upwards, open the cap, fill with cold water up to the MAX mark (600 ml max), then close and reinsert the tank into the appliance by pushing it until it stops. You can also fill without removing the tank using the provided measuring cup.
Can I use additives in the water?
No, fill with water only. Do not add any detergent, perfume, or other additive. To prevent scaling, preferably use distilled water.
How to adjust the steam amount?
Use the steam volume control on the handle: turn it to MIN or MAX to adjust the steam intensity.
What to do if the appliance does not produce steam?
Check that the tank has enough water and that the steam volume is not set too low. Make sure the appliance is turned on and plugged in. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to clean the microfiber cloths?
Wash the cloths in the machine at 60°C without fabric softener. Do not dry them in a tumble dryer. Only use the supplied cloths or suitable cloths.
When to replace the anti-scale filter?
Depending on water hardness, replace the anti-scale filter every 3 to 6 months. To replace it, remove the water tank, push the old filter upward, insert the new one, and reinsert the tank.
Can the appliance be used on all floors?
Use it on hard floors (tile, parquet) and on carpet with the provided accessory. Avoid cork floors, unsealed parquet, soft plastic, and glass. Do not direct steam onto glued edges.
How to store the appliance after use?
Turn off the appliance, unplug it, let it cool down completely. Remove the cloth, empty the tank. Wind the cable around the hook and store the appliance in a dry, clean place protected from frost.
What to do in case of malfunction?
First check that the plug is connected and the fuse has not blown. If the control light does not come on or steam does not come out, consult the troubleshooting table in the manual. Never repair the appliance yourself, contact customer service.
How to attach the cloth to the foot?
Place the cloth flat, position the appliance foot in the center, then secure it using the Velcro straps. To remove it, loosen the straps.

■Defective parts may only be replaced with original spare parts. Only original spare parts guarantee that the safety requirements are met.

Do not clean heat-sensitive materials with the device.
The mains socket must be easily accessible to enable quick disconnection of the device from the electric circuit in the event of an emergency.

Prevention of damage

CAUTION

Damage is possible from improper use of the device!

Observe the following instructions to avoid damage:

Before connecting the device, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your mains power supply. The data must correspond in order to avoid damage to the device. If in doubt, ask your electrical device retailer.
Never immerse the device into water or other liquids.

Always carry the device with the handle and not the connecting cable.

Do not pull the mains cable to remove the plug from the mains socket.
Do not crush the connecting cable. (e.g., under doors).

Do not expose the connection cable or the device to heat or chemical liquids.

Do not pull the connecting lead across sharp edges or hot surfaces.
Operate the device only when the tank is filled.

Pour only water and no other fluids or additives into the ▶ tank.

Observe the maximum filling level of the tank.

Do not leave the device outside and do not expose it to direct sunlight or humidity. Do not store the appliance in direct vicinity of heat sources (such as fire, radiators, fan heaters or other heat radiating devices).

To set the steam flow, proceed as follows:

To switch the device on and off, proceed as follows:

To switch on continuous operation, press the switch in the middle until it snaps in.

◆o trigger a steam shot, press the upper part of the switch where the grooves are situated. The device remains switched on as long as you keep the switch pressed.

Remove the device, all accessory parts and the user manual from the box.

◆ Remove all packaging materials and protective foils from the device and the accessories before using it for the first time.

NOTE

Do not remove the rating plate or any warning signs on the device.

◆Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the information in the section Disposal of the packaging.

Delivery contents and transport inspection

As standard, the device is supplied with the components specified in the description.

NOTE

Check for visible signs of damage or missing items on delivery. Report incomplete or damaged contents to your supplier immediately.

Mount device foot

NOTE

If necessary, ask another person to help when mounting the device foot.

Push the basic device (1) onto the device foot (10) until it stops.

◆ Position the hook (6) for the cable winder.

Secure the position of the device foot and the hook with the fixing screw (14) supplied.

◆ Insert the fixing screw into the hole in the hook and the foot mounting and screw it tight with a suitable Phillips screwdriver.

Switch off the steam brush and pull the plug out of the mains socket before performing any work on it in order to prevent accidental switching on.

Push the handle (3) upwards ◆ until it snaps in.

◆o pull the handle down, release the catch by pressing both of the release buttons (5).

Attach the cloth

Put the foot of the device (10) onto the middle of the cloth.

◆ Attach the cloth to the foot of the device with the Velcro fasteners.

◆Press the cord clip together and simultaneously lash the cover to the cord.

◆Pull on the Velcro fasteners to remove the cloth.

Filling the tank

CAUTION

Damage is possible from improper use of the device!

Observe the following instructions to avoid damage:

▶Only pour water into the tank and not any other fluids or additives.

Recommendation: use distilled water to guard against calcification.

Do not exceed the "MAX" marking when filling the tank.

It is possible to remove the water tank from the device to fill it:

◆Push the tank upwards and remove it.

Open the stopper of the water container and fill it with cold water. The maximum quantity is 600 ml.

◆Close the water tank again.

Insert the water tank into the device and push down until it stops.

It is also possible to fill the water tank without removing it from the device:

Open the stopper of the water tank and fill it with water. Use the measuring cup supplied for this purpose in order not to damage the device.

◆Close the water tank again.

Operation and use

General

Before you start the cleaning work, read the instructions on caring for the material to be cleaned.

Use an unexposed area to check for tolerance of the material against steam.

CAUTION

Do not clean cork floors with the steam brush.

Cleaning coated or painted surfaces

CAUTION

Do not direct the steam at glued edges because this could softened the glue. Do not use the device on unsealed wood or parquet flooring, soft plastic or glass.

Wax, furniture polish, plastic coatings or paint can dissolve or stands can occur if they are exposed to steam for longer periods. Clean kitchen and living room furniture, doors, parquet, coated or plastic coated surfaces only with the microfibre cloth and do not wipe an area too long, otherwise damage can occur, particularly on natural parquet and similar sensitive surfaces.

Using the device

Insert the plug into the mains socket. The power indicator light (9) lights up.

◆Set the desired steam flow with the steam flow regulator (2).

◆ Switch on the device or hold down the button, see operating elements section.

◆ Put the device onto the carpet coasters (13) when cleaning carpets.

Slowly push the device over the surface to be cleaned.

NOTE

▶Vigorous cleaning movements can cause small amounts of water to enter into the ventilation pipes in the water tank. Small amounts of water may then drop out of the ventilation pipes onto the floor.

After use

◆ Switch off the device, see Operating elements section and pull the plug out of the mains socket.

◆Allow the device to cool down completely.

Take the cloth from the foot of the device.

Cleaning and maintenance

This section contains important information on cleaning and maintenance of the device.

Safety instructions

Switch off the device and pull the plug out of the mains socket before starting cleaning.

WARNING

Risk of burning from the hot device!

The device remains hot after using. Danger of burning!

Wait until the device has cooled down before you remove the wiping cloth and begin cleaning it.

Cleaning

Wipe the outside housing of the device with a lightly damp cloth.

■The microfibre cloths can be washed at 60^ C in the washing device. In order to allow the cloths to properly absorb the dirt, do not use fabric softeners. Do not dry the microfibre cloths in the drier.

Inserting the calcium filter

The calcium filter (8) removes calcium and other residues from the water. Depending on the water hardness, we recommend regular replacement of the water filter after 3 – 6 months.

Remove the water tank, see section Filling the tank.

◆Push the calcium filter upwards and remove it.
Insert the new calcium filter into the water tank and push it down until it stops.
Replace the water tank into the device, see section Filling the tank.

If you do not intend to use the device for a longer period of ■ time, clean it as described in the section Cleaning and maintenance.

■You can wind the das mains cable around the hook (6) on the device.
■Store the device and all accessory parts in a dry, clean and frost-free place which is protected against direct sunlight.

Disposing of the packaging

The packaging protects the device against damage during transit. The packaging materials have been selected according to environmental and waste disposal aspects and can therefore be recycled.

Recycling the packaging material for further use saves raw materials and reduces waste. When no longer required, dispose of the packaging materials in accordance with the local regulations in force.

NOTE

If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period in order to pack the device properly in the event of a warranty claim. Transport damage will invalidate the warranty.

Disposing of the old device

Guarantee, service and repairs

This is a quality product from BEEM and was produced using the latest manufacturing methods.

We guarantee the perfect condition of this quality product. We will remedy any faults due to material flaws or manufacturing faults free of charge within the warranty period.

The warranty period for this product is two years.

For commercial or equivalent use, e.g. in hotels, guest houses or communal premises, or if the customer is not a consumer as defined by the German Civil Code, the warranty period is 6 months. This does not infringe the warranty disclaimer.

Warranty disclaimer: The warranty does not cover faults caused in particular by improper use, failure to observe instructions in the user manual and safety precautions, use of force, modifications, unauthorised attempted repairs and attempted repairs by unqualified third parties. Faults caused by normal wear are also excluded.
