UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)

This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded: blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.

The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.

The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.

The green & yellow wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green & yellow.

HOW TO USE

Your new stick mixer is a convenient and easy to use for powerful high speed blending. It is great for shakes, soups, sauces, omelettes and much, much more.

  • Before using for the first time, the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged first!
  • Screw the shaft onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the locked symbol 🔒. This is a left-hand screw thread. Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the shaft is fully tightened on to the motor unit.
  • Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing bowl, cooking pan or mixing beaker (if included). Do not over fill to avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
  • Plug in at the mains.
  • Put the shaft of the appliance into the ingredients before pressing the on switch. This will avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
  • Switch on motor and blend but remember to use for no longer than 3 minutes continuous use. The motor must then be rested for 10 minutes.

HOW TO CLEAN DETACHABLE METAL LEG

• Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- The motor unit should only be wiped down with a moist cloth.
- Unscrew the shaft from the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the unlocked symbol ⚙, This is a left-hand screw thread.
- Wash the shaft under running water immediately after use. If it is very dirty, it can be washed in warm washing-up water.
- DO NOT wash the metal detachable shaft in a DISHWASHER. The chemicals used in dishwashers will mark and stain the surface of the aluminium leg.
• Dry the metal detachable shaft thoroughly after washing.
- For best results after cleaning and drying, lightly coat the metal surfaces with cooking oil. This will keep the finish bright and stain free.
• NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN ANY LIQUID.

- The metal detachable shaft is made from food grade aluminium which complies with the European Standard EN 601:1994.
