CLEANING THE FILTERS
Filters
The filter system consists of: 1 accordion filter to vacuum the smallest particles (in the dust container)
1 nylon filter (around the accordion filter)
1 air filter, to vacuum the smallest particles (at the left side of the appliance)
It is necessary to clean the filters regularly to avoid operating problems.
Cleaning the accordion filter
If you notice that even after having emptied the dust collector, the suction power is reduced, clean the accordion filter. To do so:
Take out the dust collector as described above.
- Remove the lid of the dust collector.
- Rotate the accordion filter from the dust collector's lid until it is unlocked.
- Remove the bottom of the filter unit.
Take the nylon filter from the accordion filter. If necessary, wash it in soapsuds. Make sure it is dry before putting it back in place.
- Rinse the bracket and accordion filter in water, if necessary with help of a soft brush, and dry them completely. Never put them in the washing machine and never dry them with a hair dryer.
To put the nylon filter and the accordion filter back, proceed inversely. Make sure that the bracket with nylon filter is put correctly on the accordion filter, so that the small lugs of the bottom of the filter unit enter into the slots of the bracket of the nylon filter.
Air Filter
This air filter (situated behind the grid at the left side of the appliance) guarantees fresh air during cleaning. It should be replaced approximately every 3 months (depending on the operating frequency).
- Switch off the appliance, open the grid, remove the filter and clean it in soapsuds. When it is dry, put it back and close back the grid.
NOTE: After a certain number of cleanings the filters will be damaged or impossible to get back in their initial shape. In such case, please contact the nearest customer service to obtain new filters.
Cleaning the dust collector
Clean the inside of the dust collector with a damp cloth or sponge, but make sure it is totally dry before using the appliance again.
PRACTICAL HINTS
- When cleaning stairs, we advise you to keep the unit in a vertical position.
The floor brush is equipped with a hook, allowing you to attach the tube to the rear part of the appliance (handle of the dust container) when it is in use, for instance when you want to move a piece of furniture, or after use when storing your appliance.
10 TEAM ST 46 E-100124

The vacuum cleaner requires no regular maintenance other than the filter cleaning tasks as detailed here above.
If you notice a loss of suction power, it is probably due to one or a combination of the following events: blocked filter, full dust collector or blockage in tubes. If your appliance still does not work properly after you have checked those problems, please ask a qualified electrician for advice.
