How to install the HF 76 humidifier?

Place the device on a flat, stable surface, about 60 cm from the floor and 10 cm from the wall. Fill a bottle with fresh water (preferably filtered), close the cap, then place it on the bottle adapter. Plug the AC adapter into a suitable power outlet (100-240 V).

What type of water should I use?

Use fresh filtered or distilled water to prevent limescale buildup. Do not use hot water or unfiltered tap water if it is hard.

How to adjust the steam output?

Press the button (A) to turn on the device. Press again to gradually increase the steam output from low to high. Press again to turn off the device.

What to do if the humidifier does not produce mist?

Check that the bottle is filled with water and the device is plugged in. Make sure the ultrasonic sensor is not scaled: clean it with the provided brush. If the problem persists, the sensor may be broken.

How to clean the humidifier?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the bottle and the casing. Rinse the water tank with clean water. For weekly descaling, pour about 200 ml of white vinegar into the basin, let it sit for 15 minutes, then scrub the sensor with the brush and wipe with a soft cloth.

Can I use essential oils?

The manual does not recommend using essential oils, as they may damage the ultrasonic sensor and reduce performance. Use only water.

SAFETY OPERATION

Ensure that all safety precautions are followed when using electrical appliance for the proper operation of the device.

This instruction booklet describes the safety precautions to be observed during operation to prevent injuries to yourself, other persons and damage to the device. The content not only is suitable for this product but also suitable for electrical appliances in general.

SPECIAL ATTENTION

The inner ultrasonic transducer is highly sensitive. Do not touch it with bare fingers or scrape it with metal tools, or it will reduce mist output. *When cleaning this area please use cleaning brush provided. Do not use hot water and unfiltered tap water to prevent clogging and damage to the misting parts.

AC 110~240V, 50~60Hz / DC 24V. Over voltage may cause fire hazard or electric shock.

MOISTURE PROHIBITED

To prevent fire or electric shock hazard,do not place the unit in wet places where water may enter the device.

DO NOT DISMANTLE

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Make sure the humidifier is OFF and disconnected from the electrical outlet.
2. Place the humidifier on a flat surface, about 60cm away from the floor and 10cm away from the wall. We recommend you not to place the humidifier on important furniture.
3. Remove the bottle and lift straight upward.

a. Fill the bottle with cool, fresh water, filtered water is recommended for better performance. DO NOT FILL WITH WARM WATER AS THIS MAY CAUSE LEAKING.
b. After filling, close the bottle cap by firmly turning clockwise and then place the bottle tank on the base. The bottle will immediately begin to empty into the base.

1. Plug the power cord into a rated electrical outlet.
2. Power and Mist control knob use knob (A) to control the power to be ON/OFF and mist outlet from low to high.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To get the most of the benefit from the humidifier and avoid product failure, please follow all maintenance instructions carefully. If the recommended care and maintenance guidelines are not followed, micro-organisms may grow in the water within the humidifier.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, turn OFF and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
2. Lift off the tank and the housing of the humidifier.
3. Carry the water bottle to a sink, then drain and rinse the water bottle thoroughly to remove any sediment and dirt. Wipe clean and dry with a clean soft cloth or paper towel.
4. Refill the bottle with tap water.

WEEKLY MAINTENANCE

1. Repeat steps 1 to 3 mentioned above.
2. Fill one cup of white vinegar (about 200ml ) to the basin for about 15 minutes, then wipe off the scale in the basin especially in the transducer with a soft brush.
3. Remove the scale and white vinegar solution with a clean soft cloth.

CAUTION

1. Make sure the main body is never submerged into water.
2. Do not use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the humidifier.
3. Clean the inner parts with a soft cloth only.
4. Only use the brush to clean the transducer. This should be done once a week.
5. Change the water in the bottle at least once a week.

STORING THE HUMIDIFIER

1. Clean the humidifier as described earlier and dry thoroughly.
2. Preferably store the humidifier in its original box.
3. Avoid storing in high temperature.
