W e are very pleased that you chose this product and w ould like to thank you for your confidence. To m ake sure you w ill have lots of pleasure w ith your new Baby Food W arm er, please observe the follow ing notes carefully, keep this instruction m anual for future reference and pass it on to any user. For your safety M ake sure your m ains voltage is identical w ith the details on the rating plate. Alw ays put the appliance on a solid base and m ake sure your baby cannot pull it off. N ever use the Baby Food W arm er w ithout w ater.lnappropriate use and disregard of the instruction m anual w ill lead to the 1055 of guarantee. Never leave the appliance unattended w hen operating it. The safest w ay to sw itch off the appliance is to unplug it. Ifthe appliance or the pow er supply cord is dam aged, unplug it im m ediately! Dur electrical appliances com ply w ith the relevant safety regulations. They m ay only be repaired by specialists. Inappropriate repairs m ay result in considerable danger for the user. The appliance is closed in such a w ay to prevent it from being opened or repaired by anybody else other than the eustom er service or an authorized specialist. The sam e goes for replacing the pow er supply cord. G B7 H ow to w arm up baby bottles Put the bottle into the Baby Food W arm er, then pour w ater into the cavity betw een the bottle and the inner container. Follow ing that connect the appliance to the m ains and select the requested tem perature w ith the rotary knob. The pilot lam p goes on, and heating begins. After approxim ately 8 m inutes the right tem perature for your baby to eat is reached, the pilot lam p goes off. Now rem ove the bottle or turn the rotary knob back (refer to ,H ow to keep food w arm '). Before you give your baby som ething to drink, please m ake sure the content has the right tem perature for drinking. For this end shake the bottle a little so that heat w ill spread evenly. Sw itch off the appliance after usage by turning the rotary knob counter-clockw ise as far as it w ill go und unplug it from the m ains. Attention: W arm ing up baby food does not only depend on the selected tem perature, but also on the original tem perature of the food and the w ater, the thickness of the glass, the quantity of food and its consistency. The sym bol ,bottle' stands for heating up quickly. W ithin a short period of tim e you w ill find out w hat tem perature to select in order to obtain the right food tem perature. H ow to w arm up baby food jars Rem ove the label on the jar to m ake sure it w ill not com e off w hen heating it up and w ill not m ake the inner container sticky. Take the lid off and clip the grip clip around the thread. Then put the jar into the inner container and pour w ater into the cavity betw een the jar and the container. Position the rotary knob to the ,jar' sym bol, the pilot lam p goes on, and heating begins. In order to obtain a m ore even spreading of heat stir the content of the jar several tim es. After heating up is com pleted, the pilot lam p goes off, the selected food tem perature has been reached.8 H ow to keep food w arm W ith this appliance you can also keep baby food w arm for som e tim e; for this end position the rotary knob to the range for keeping w arm (refer to picture on page 2). How ever, for reasons of m icrobiology and hygiene baby food should never be kept w arm for longer than 1 hour. Cleaning and m aintenance Alw ays unplug the appliance prior to cleaning and let it cool. In order to avoid calcerous form ation alw ays w ipe out the Baby Food W arm er w ith a dam p cloth after usage. Do not use any detergents or abrasive detergents. Never im m erse the appliance in w ater and do not use any steam jet appliances.9 Instructions d'utilisation
