Filter

Your machine has three fi lter systems.

  1. Transparent dust collection container

  2. The traditional dust bag system has been replaced by a transparent dust collection container in which coarse dirt particles and tiny particles floating in the air are swirled out of the suction air by the high speed of the air current.

  3. The purchase of dust bags is no longer necessary.
  4. The quantity of dust can be easily read off at any time on the container, which is also very easy to empty.
  5. Once the dust level has reached the MAX mark on the dust container, please proceed as follows:

Remove the motor protection fi lter and den exhaust fi lter. Clean the fi lters by tapping out its contents and gentle brushing.

In cases of heavy soiling: Wash both fi Iters in a weak soapy water solution, rinse out and allow to dry.

  • Every third time the vacuum cleaner is emptied, or in the case of heavy soiling, please clean the fi Iters by allowing running water to fl ow through the fi Iter felt in the opposite direction to which the air passes through.
  • The filter should only be reinserted when they are completely dry!

Important note!

  • Cleaning may become necessary after a shorter time, depending on the conditions of use, e.g. when vacuuming fi ne dust.
  • If the suction power of your vacuum cleaner diminishes please clean the filters as described.
  • If the suction power suddenly diminishes during operation this may be due to the fiters being locked.

Possible cause: As the fi Iters are blocked cooling air for the motor is drawn through the secondary air valve (9). This occurs in order to protect the motor. Switch the vacuum cleaner off. Clean the fi Iters in soapy water as described above.

The vacuum cleaner should only be switched on again when the fi lters are dry.

Cleaning and storage

Cleaning

• Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
- Clean the casing with a dry cloth.
- Clean the motor protection fi lter approximately every 3. time the vacuum cleaner is emptied. Clean the fi lter in hot water without additives. Put it back into place only once it is completely dry.

Storage

• Wind the cable completely.
- Insert the hook of the nozzle on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner into the parking assistance.
