General safety instructions

  • Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully.
  • Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging!

- The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich toaster near or below curtains and other inflammable materials!

Starting-up the unit

Lightly grease the baking surfaces before the unit is used for the first time. Use the appliance for about 10 minutes with the toasting surfaces closed (see "Using the unit"). Then wipe it down with a damp cloth.

- Do not eat the first sandwich.

Using the unit

  1. Put the plug into an earthed 230 V, 50 Hz mains socket. The red LED lights up.

  2. Keep the baking unit closed during the warming-up time. The toasting temperature is reached when the green LED lights up.

  3. Open the cover and place each toast. Then close the lid gently. Block the handle with the hinge. The green control lamp goes off again after a few seconds.

  4. When the green control lamp lights up again, baking is finished.

  5. Open the lid and remove the slices of toast with a wooden fork or the like. Do not use pointed or sharp objects to avoid damaging the coating of the baking surfaces.

  6. The baking section should always be closed in the intervals between baking.

Cleaning & maintenance

  • Pull out the mains plug and allow the unit to cool down.
  • Brush off the crumbs or remains of the sandwich filling from the toasting surfaces.
  • Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents.

Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.
