The equipment is designed exclusively for use as an additional heater in dry, closed rooms. It is designed to be operated only when placed on the floor. The equipment may only be used for the tasks it is designed to handle. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this. Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.
6. Before starting the equipment
The equipment can be used indoors in a free standing position. Keep a minimum distance of 1 m between the housing and walls, combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.). The equipment may only be used completely mounted and standing vertically on a stable surface. It is prohibited to operate the equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on a bed). Important. Before using the equipment for the first time, check that the voltage supply is the same as the voltage details set out on the rating plate. Read the safety regulations in section 1. When the equipment is used for the first time or after a long period of rest it may emit an odor for a short time. This is not a fault. Check the correct air throughput by holding a sheet of paper a distance of 10 cm in front of the air outlet grille in air circulation mode (without heating). The paper must be blown away from the air outlet grille.
7.1 Switching the equipment on/off (Fig. 2)
Press the main switch (4) “ON/OFF”. The fan will run and the operating LED will be lit. To switch off, press the main switch again.
7.2 Switching on the heat output (Fig. 2)
If you press one of the two heat output switches (A / B) when the heater ON, the equipment will heat with 1000 W. If you press both switches, the equipment will heat with 2000 W.
7.3 Switching on the oscillation function (Fig. 2)
Actuate the oscillation switch (C). The equipment will swivel approx. 45° to the left and 45° to the right. To switch off the oscillation function and have the equipment blow in one specific direction only, actuate the oscillation switch (C) again.
If the appliance topples during operation, it will be turned off automatically by the switch (Fig. 4 / Item 7) and the LED will go out.
7.5 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the appliance will shut down automatically. Should this happen, set the mains power switch (Fig. 2 / Item 4) to „0ff“ and pull out the power plug. Allow the appliance to cool for about 15 minutes. After eliminating the cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the appliance can be switched on again as described in 7.1. It will not be possible to switch on the appliance if it has not cooled sufficiently. If the overheating guard triggers repeatedly, please contact your customer service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).
