How to set the time automatically ?

Insert a new AA battery. The clock receives the DCF-77 radio signal and sets automatically within 2 to 5 minutes. If nothing happens after 10 minutes, move the device near a window and press RESET.

How to set the time manually ?

Press and hold the M. SET button to enter setting mode. Release when the time flashes, then press again to advance the time quickly.

How to set the alarm ?

The alarm time is the same as the displayed time. To activate it, slide the side switch to ON position. The alarm will sound at the set time.

How to use the Snooze function ?

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button on top of the device. The alarm stops and automatically repeats 5 minutes later.

How to turn off the alarm permanently ?

Slide the side switch to OFF position. The alarm stops and will not sound again as long as the switch remains OFF.

How to turn on the backlight ?

Briefly press the SNOOZE button (top of the device) to activate the screen backlight.

Why is the clock not displaying the correct time ?

Radio signal reception can be disturbed by electronic devices, concrete walls, or excessive distance. Place the clock near a window, away from TVs and computers, then press RESET.

Can I use rechargeable batteries ?

No, use only standard alkaline batteries (AA/LR6). Rechargeable batteries may provide insufficient voltage and damage the device.

How to clean the device ?

Disconnect the power (remove the battery). Clean the exterior with a soft dry cloth. Do not use chemical or abrasive products.

What to do in case of malfunction ?

Press the RESET button to restart the clock. If the problem persists, check the battery status and replace it if necessary. Make sure the device is in a suitable location for radio reception.

Pull down the lid of the battery compartment (at the bottom of the case). Insert a new battery (AA type, LR6, 1,5 V), observing correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment. Put lid back again.

Setting the clock automatically

The clock starts automatically receiving the DCF signal and displays after 2 - 5 minutes the correct time. If the clock still has not set itself after 10 minutes, reception is faulty or not possible at the chosen location. Interferences could be electronically devices like TV or PC. The disturbance range can be a circuit of up to 2 meter. Press RESET button on the backside and repeat setting at a different location.

Manual setting

Press and hold the M.Set button to manually set the time.

Restart

Press the RESET button to restart the clock.

Switch on alarm

Push the alarm ON/OFF button upwards. The alarm sounds at the set alarm time.

Interrupt alarm (snoopze)

Press SNOOZE button on top of the alarm clock. The alarm is interrupted and the backlight is activated. The alarm sounds again after 5 minutes.

Switch off alarm

To switch off the alarm, push the alarm ON/OFF - button down.

Backlight

To activate backlight, press SNOOZE button on top of the clock.
