STARTINGUP

  • Place the appliance upright on a dry and stable surface near a power socket. Place the appliance in such a way that it can not be knocked over and nobody trips over the power cord.
  • Plug the power plug into a suitable wall outlet.

SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON

  1. Set the power flip switch on the appliance back side to "1". A signal sound can be heard twice and the symbol O lights up in the display to indicate that the appliance is now in standby mode. You can now activate the appliance by pressing the ON / OFF button O in the control panel.
CAUTION: When in standby mode, the heater will only react if you press the button. All other buttons are operable only after the appliance has been activated with the button.
NOTE: To turn the appliance off again, press the button once more. The display will count down from 10 to 0, then the appliance is switched off and returned to standby mode.
  2. Once the appliance has been switched on, the symbol indicating low heating power as well as the current room temperature with the symbol "C" to its right side light up.

ADJUSTING HEATING POWER

  1. With the button, you can adjust heating power.
  2. Low heating power is the standard setting after activation. If you press the button, the appliance will work on high heating power. Pressing the button again will switch back to low heating power. The control panel will always display the corresponding symbol:

low heating power
high heating power

CAUTION: In ECO mode you can not adjust heating power, here, the heating power automatically adapts to the current room temperature.

  1. You can adjust the timer and thus determine how long the appliance should heat before automatically switching off with the MODE button
  2. Press the button once. The figure "0" flashes in the display next to "H", representing hours. Press the button to increase the number of hours or the button to decrease the number of hours. You can set any operating time between 0 and 12 hours. Each press of the and buttons will change the setting by one hour. Keep the buttons pressed for 2 seconds or longer and the display will quickly count up or down.
  3. Not pressing either of the two buttons for 5 seconds or pressing any other button saves the setting. The display states the remaining operating time in hours and the heater automatically switches to standby mode once it reaches "0".

NOTES:

You can only adjust the timer by pressing the button once so that H" lights up in the control panel and then using the and buttons to set the time. Only pressing the button without using the or but- tons afterwards will not set an operating time and does not activate the timer.
If you do not wish to set an operating time (setting 0" hours), your appliance will stay active until it is manually switched off with the button.

SETTING THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE

  1. You can use the button to set the desired room temperature.
  2. Press the button twice. The number flashes in the display, next to "C" representing degrees Celsius.
  3. Press the button to increase temperature or the - button to decrease temperature. You can set any room temperature you desire, between 5^ and 35^ . Each press of the buttons or changes the setting by one degree. Keep the buttons pressed for longer than 2 seconds and the display will quickly count up or down.
  4. Not pressing either of the two buttons for 5 seconds or pressing any other button saves the setting.

NOTES:

  • You can only set your desired temperature by pressing the button twice so that ^ C lights up in the control panel and then using the + and - buttons to set the temperature. Only pressing the button twice without using the or buttons afterwards will not set any temperature. Instead, the last set temperature stays saved.
If you have selected the automatic ECO mode, you can not set a desired temperature. The standard setting in ECO mode is 22^ and can not be changed.

In general:

  • The built-in thermostat takes approx. 10 seconds to register the current room temperature. As soon as it has registered the room temperature, the ceramic heater starts up, provided the current room temperature is at least 2^ lower than the set temperature. If the current room temperature is at least 2^ higher than the set temperature, heating stops and the symbols for low or high heating power in the control panel go out. When the temperature sinks again, the appliance automatically switches back on.
  • Please consider that the thermostat in the appliance can only measure the temperature immediately surrounding the appliance. Should you simultaneously measure the temperature with a thermometer some distance away from the heater (f.e. in the other end of the room), the value measured by the thermometer could be a few degrees lower than the value displayed by the heater. Should the thermometer be positioned f.e. directly above the heater, the value could be even higher than stated on the heater, as warm air rises up. The heating function of the WiFi Ceramic Heater is determined by the temperature value measured and displayed by the built-in thermostat of the heater.
  • If you have set the timer, the set operation time and the current room temperature alternately light up at 30 second intervals. If you have not set the timer, the current room temperature is displayed constantly.

SETTING THE AUTOMATIC ECO MODE

  • When you press the ECO mode button, you switch to the energy saving and automatic ECO mode. The display states ECO.
  • In ECO mode, the set room temperature is fixed to 22^ , it can not be changed.
  • If the current room temperature is below 18^ , the appliance works at high heating power in ECO mode. The corresponding symbol lights up in the control panel.
  • If the current room temperature is between 18^ and 22^ , the appliance works at low heating power in ECO mode. The corresponding symbol rights up in the control panel.
Once the room temperature has reached 22^ , the appliance switches to stand by mode. The display constantly shows the current room temperature.

NOTES:

  • In ECO mode, neither the heating power nor the desired room temperature can be set.
  • You can, however, set the timer in ECO mode to determine operating time.

■ MEMORY FUNCTION

  • If you have not disconnected the appliance from the power grid and/or switched it off with the power flip switch and then switch it on again with the button without making any other settings, the appliance works in the last saved settings. Only the timer function is not saved, meaning operation time is not set.
  • If the appliance was disconnected from the power grid or switched off with the power flip switch, the last saved settings are deleted. The appliance will start in low heating power with a standard temperature setting of 25^ once it is reactivated.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

After approx. 1 minute, the illumination of the function lights in the control panel and the display is dimmed resp. reduced by one third. This prevents the lights from affecting your sleep at night. Each time the appliance is operated and the buttons are pressed, the LED lamps light up in the highest brightness.

TIP OVER PROTECTION

  • Should the appliance be tipped over, the appliance will immediately switch to standby mode resp. stop the blower after 10 seconds. This is done for your safety, as a tipped over heater can cause a fire.

SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE OFF

  1. If you want to switch the appliance off, press the button on the control panel and wait for the appliance to count down from 10 to 0. Then, the blower will stop as well.
  2. As soon as the numbers in the display have gone out, push the power tilt switch on the appliance back side to the position u0'' and pull the plug.

CAUTION: If you want to operate your appliance with a smartphone, your appliance has to be plugged in and switched on with the power switch (power tilt switch set to position "I") so that it is in standby mode. Furthermore, it has to be connected to the WiFi.
