CAUTION!

- Do not damage the mains lead.
When not in use, disconnect the mains lead from the outlet. Grasp the plug, not the mains lead, when disconnecting the unit. - If water should enter the unit, electrical shock or a malfunction may result. Use in an area where there is low humidity and little dust.
- Do not disassemble or alter the unit in any way.
- Do not use the unit in areas where extremes in temperature occur (below 5^ or exceeding 35^ ), or where it may be exposed to direct sunlight.
- Because of the CD player's extremely low noise and wide dynamic range, there is a tendency to turn the volume on the amplifier higher than necessary. Doing so may produce an excessively high output from the amplifier which can cause damage to your speakers. Please be careful in this regard.
- Sudden changes in the surrounding temperature can cause dew to form on the optical pickup lens inside the unit. Under this condition the unit may be unable to operate properly. If this should occur, remove the disc and allow the player to adjust to the surrounding temperature.
- This unit must be operated in a horizontal position.
- Please use the original CD or VCD or MP3 software, and any copy discs are not recommendable for use.
- The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc;
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus;
- It shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus;
- Do not place the product in closed bookcases or racks without proper ventilation.
- Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
- Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

- When using the remote controller, make sure the remote controller directly to the remote sink of the unit, and avoid operating in the 45^ and 5m range having no any bar.
- When the remote controller doesn't use, change the battery as right picture.

PAUSE
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button during play. Play will temporarily stop, and PAUSE indicator will show.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to resume play. Pause indicator will go off.

Press and release repeatedly
TRACKSKIP
- Press and release the or SKIP button repeatedly during play to quickly locate the beginning of a track.
- The CD/VCD/MP3/DVD track number display will show the of the selected track. Play will continue beginning of the new track.
PROGRAMMED PLAY (Setting only by remote handset)
With programmed play, up to 20 tracks on a disc can be memorized and played in any order.
For example to program track 7, 9, 5
① Press PROGRAM button, during STOP mode
② Press number key 7
③ Press number key 9
④ Press number key 5
⑤ Press PLAY/PAUSE button and programmed play starts automatically.
⑥ To cancel the programmed play, press STOP button once.
PLAYING DVD/VCD disc
① Connection
As pre fig, connect a TV equipped with audio/video input sockets with AV monitor cord (supplied).
② According to your TV unit, set the color system to select PAL or NTSC on the back side of this model.

HELPFUL HINT:
To keep better picture quality, use the certain volume level (not Max. level) for playing VCD.
DVD playing operation
- Open the unit, after inserting the disc, Close the cover, then the unit will play automatically.

- Title/Chapter Search
① Some discs will have many title, each title will have many chapters.
When auto matically playing DVD (or press "title" in playing), the screen will show title.
② Press "<<>>" "^" "√" button to select expected title, then press "ENTER" to play.
③ Select playing tracks chapter with number key "0-9" and "10+" (the entering number must less than the total chapter number), then press "ENTER" to play.
- Slow playback
① Press and hold the " SLOW " button activate slow playback speed going from forward 1/2, forward 1/3, forward 1/4, forward 1/5, forward 1/6, forward 1/7 to normal.
② There is no sound during slow playback.
- Previous and next
① During playing, press "▶" "▶" button of the remote controller or "TUNING+" "TUNING-" button of the unit, each time press the button, jump a chapter to playing.
② Press "▶" or "TUNING+", playing from the next chapter; press "▶" or "TUNING-", playing from the previous chapter.
- Fast forward and fast backward
① Press the "▶" fast forward or "←" fast backward of the remote control to activate and show on the screen.
② Each time you touch the "▶", the fast forward speed goes from forward X2, forward X4, forward X8, for ward X20 to normal playback.
③ Each time you touch the " ", the fast backward speed goes from backward X2, backward X4, backward X8, backward X20 to normal playback.
- Pausing disc play
① Press the "▶" to make the disc pause.
② Press" again to start playing again.
- Stopping playback
① Press the "■" of the remote controller or "DVD Setup/Stop" button of the unit once, playing to stop playing, Press the button again to stop all play backs with out last memory.
② Press the "▶||" to resume from where it is stopped or start play.
- Change the subtitle
This function only available when there are two or more subtitle languages recorded in the disc.
① Press "SUBTITLE" of the remote controller while playing to change between available subtitle languages.
② Repeatedly press the button, the subtitle language change among: English, Spanish, French, Chinese, subtitle on, subtitle off.
③ Some discs record most 32 languages. The detail, please see most subtitle marks on the disc, the number show how many languages had recorded.
④ This function may not work with some discs or during some courses.
⑤ It may require some time to change between subtitle exits.
6 Keep pressing the "SUBTITLE" until the subtitle exits.
9. Switching the Audio Languages
This function only available when there are two or more audio languages recorded in the disc.
① Press "L/R LANGUAGE" of the remote controller, each time press it, you can switch between available languages.
② Some of disc can record 8 audios.Detailed condition, please see language mark on the disc.The number had showed the recorded language.
③ The function may not work with some disc or during some courses.
④ It may require some time to switch between audio language.
10. Switch the viewing angle
This function only available when there are two or more viewing angle recorded in the disc.
① Press "ANGLE" of the remote controller while playing to switch between available subtitle languages.
② Press the button again, return to the second angle, press again to return third angle.
③ Some of the disc can record 9 viewing angle. The detail which see multi viewing angle mark on the disc, the number show the multi viewing angles had recorded.
④ The function may not work with some discs or during some coures.
⑤ It may require some time to switch between viewing angle.
11.Repeat function
① Red"RedRedTebortda tonepolat playing.
② Press first time, showing current repeat mode, select repeat mode according to pressing times, Repeat mode is circle as below: repeat "OFF"→repeat "chapter" →repeat "title".
12.Repeat segment
Press "A-B" button of the remote controller to select expect playing segment, the default is off.
① Press once, the repeat began from A
② Press twice, the repeat end from B
③ Press third, close the repeat function.
13.Screen display playing status
When playing and then press " OSD" of the remote controller or " display " to switch the different playing status:
Title playing time, title remainder time, chapter playing time, chapter remainder time.
SETUP THE DVD MENU FUNCTION
MENUSETTINGS
1. System Settings
① TV P/N select

Automatically select different P/N according to the different disc.
② Auto Play

If the unit is power on ad no any operate in 3 minutes, the unit will be in screen saver.
③ TV TYPE

You can enjoy different effect according to different screen scale.
④ PASSWORD

The original setup is 0000, open or lock the code when input the number.
⑤ RATING

The setup only work when open the code.
⑥ Default

When you set the unit wrongly, please using the setup to resume normally work.
2. Language setting
① Language display setting

Select different display language according to different country.
② Audio language

Select different audio language according to the different recorded language of disc.
③ Subtitle language

Select different subtitle display or close it according to the different recorded subtitle language of the disc.
④ Menu language

3. Video setting
① Brightness

You can set the lightness, contrast, hue, saturation and size of degree.
② Contrast

③ Hue

④ Saturation

4. Speaker setting

① Downmix
Sharpness

Tip: Pree SETUP button for the second time, the unit will exit DVD setup.
VCD playing operation
After selecting the disc, the playing mode auto form. The function may not work according to some the story of the disc. The VCD disc with PBC function screen menu display after the menu screen displaying.
- Title/Chapter playing (The disc must have PBC function and the PBC is on)
① When playing, press "PBC" button of the remote controller the screen will show title.
② Press number key "0-9" and "10+" to select expected chapter (the entering number must less than the total chapter number).
- Slow Playback
① Press SLOW button the search speed goes from 1/2,1/3,1/4,1/5,1/6,1/7 to normal.
② There is no sound during slow playing.
- Jump to another track
① WHfeh playigtttnepessthe nrotoeentroller "TUNING+
"TUNING-" button of the unit. press them each time, the track jump one title, start to play.
② Press "oTuning+" button, start to play from next track.
③ Press "bit Tuning" button, start to play from previous track.
- Fast forward and fast backward
① Press the othe"to fast forward and fast backward playing. The speed of the fast forward or fast backward according to the different disc is different.
② Press "each time, the fast speed forward goes from to fast forward X2, forward X4, forward X8 to forward X20
③ Each time press the button, "the speed backward goes from fast backward X2, backward X4, backward X8, backward X20
5. Pausing disc play
① Press "▶II" to pause current playback.
② Press "▶II" again to resume playing.
6. Stopping playback
① Press "■" of the remote controller or "DVD Setup/Stop" of unit, stop playing.
② Press "▶II",the disc restart playing again.
7. Repeat playing
① When playing, press the "REPEAT" button to select playback function.
② First press,repeat playing the current track.
③ Second press, repeat playing the current disc.
④ Third press, close repeat playing fuction.
⑤ Repeat mode: repeat "OFF" →repeat "ONE" →repeat "ALL".
8. Setting repeat function between A and B tracks
① Press " A-B " button once to setup A track of the repeat playing.
② Press twice to setup the end of B track,then the disc will be playing between A and B tracks.
③ Press 3 times to close the function.
9. Screen show playing status
When playing, press "OSD" button of the remote controller, the screen will show circularly the current track playing time, the current track remainder time, all disc playing time and all disc remainder time.
10. Change the audio output
Press L/R Language button when playback, each time you press, the sound modes will start.
① Stereo (stereo output)
② L channel (all sound only output L channel sound)
③ R channel (all sound only output R channel sound)
JPEG playing operation
JPEG disc is form many lists, each list has many JPEG pictures
① After selecting disc and plaling to the unit, will auto play JPEG disc.
② Press "A" or "V" button of the remote controller to select different picture.
③ Press "ENTER" to playing selected picture.
④ Press " 一 ^ key to return menu.
MP3 playing operation
1.MP3 is form many lists (floders), each list has many MP3 tracks.
① After selecting disc and plaling to the unit, will auto play MP3 mode.
② Press "A" or "V" button to select page.
③ Press "<" "> " ^" and " " button to select track.
④ Press "ENTER" to playing selected track.
⑤ Press "<" button to return floder.
2. Fast forward and fast back forward
① Press "▶" or "←" to perform fast forward and fast backward. The speed of the fast forward and fast backward according to different disc is different.
② Each time press "▶" the speed of fast forward goes from forward X2, forward X4, forward X8, forwardX120
③ Each time press "▲" the speed of fast backward goes from backward X2, backward X4, backward X8, backward X20 to normal.
3. Pause playing
① Press "▶" to pause currently playing.
② Press"▶again to repeat playing.
4. Stop playing
When press " to stop playing.
(2) Press "▶" to repeat playing current track.
5.Repeat playing
① When playing, press repeat to select repeat function. Press once to select a track repeat; Press twice to select folder or dir repeat; Press third to select repeat all disc; Press four close.
② Repeat mode: repeat "OFF" →repeat "ONE" →repeat "DIR" →repeat "ALL".
6. Setting repeat function between A to B
① Press IA-BI button once to setup starting A.
② Press twice to setup ending B.
③ Press third to close the function.
7. Screen display playing
When playing or stopping, press "display" button of the remote controller to show current track playing time or remainder
CD playing operation
After selecting disc and playing to the unit, will auto play CD (If press the button of the unit or the remote controller without function, the screen will show " ")
1. Select number to play at first hand.
Press number button " 0~9 " and " 10+ " of the remote controller to select according track number (if the track number over the disc range, the input is invalid )
Eg: If you select twelfth track, press "10+ " first and then press " 2 " to select it.
2. Jump to another Track
① Pre's the 一 button or the each time, jump a track to start playing.
② Press button, start playing from next track.
③ Press button, start playing from previous track.
3. Fast forward and backward
① Wh'eh playing, press or to switch fast forward or fast backward. The speed of fast forward or fast backward according to the different disc is different.
② Each time press , the fast forward speed goes from forward X2, forward X4, forward X8, forward X20 to normal.
③ Each time press , the fast backward speed goes from backward X2, backward X4, backward X8, backward X20 to normal.
- Pausing disc play
① Press to make the disc pause during palyback.
② Press again to repeat playing.
- Stopping playback
① Press the button to stop playing when playback.
② Press button to restart play again.
③ Pre'ss again, the disc will stop playing.
- Repeat playing
① Wh'en playing, press REPEAT button to select repeat playing function.
② Press once, repeat playing the current track.
③ Press tiwce, repeat playing the current disc.
④ Press 3 times, close repeat playing fuction.
⑤ Repeat mode: repeat "OFF" → repeat "ONE" → repeat "ALL".
- Setting repeat function between A and B tracks
① Pre's A-B once to setup the track A.
② Press twice to setup the track B,then the disc will be playing between A and B tracks.
③ Press 3 times to close the function.
- Screen display playing
When playing, press "display" to show round current track playing time, current track remainder time, all disc playing time and all disc remainder time.

Copy DISC files to USB
The DISC files must be CD format or MP3, WMA format.
Please make sure that USB had been plugged in before copy.
If plugging USB simultaneity, the USB will do first.
If copy MP3 and WMA format files, you can press SUB TITLE button on the remote, the format won't be changed.
The CD format files will be changed into MP3 format automatically after copied.

To quickly wind the tape backward

To quickly wind the tape forward
① TO TAPE.

To OFF (TAPE)
② Press STOP/EJECT. Insert cassette.



STOP/EJECT
Press STOP/EJECT once to stop the tape. Press again to remove the cassette.
④ To control the sound.

KARAOKE OPERATION
① TO DVD

PLAY/PAUSE button will be on in DVD mode.

④ Insert microphone plug to KARAOKE socket.

Note : It also can use KARAOKE in play cassette mode.
ADJUST MICROPHONE TONE EFFECT
- Insert microphone plug to microphone socket, make the on-off switch "ON".
- Revolve the equilibrium control button in the unit clockwise, you can increase the sound of background music; Revolve the equilibrium control button in the unit anti-clockwise, you can increase the sound of vox.
(Tip: This function will do only when playing Disc or Tape.)
- Revolve tone control button in the unit to adjust tone.
- Revolve echo control button to increase or reduce echo volume.
- Revolve automatic voice control button to maximum, you can eliminate background sound. User can regulate the ratio of background sound and human voice by revolving the automatic voice control button.
(Tip: This operation will do only when playing mix-CD.)

Safeguards against accidental erasure
To protect side A, break out tab (1). To protect side B, break out tab (2).
NOTE:
A cassette with the erase guard tabs removed cannot be erased or used for recording and the REC button cannot be depressed. To record or erase a protect cassette, cover the tab openings with adhesive taps (3).

Press STOP/EJECT once to stop the tape. Press again to remove the cassette.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the unit
Clean the outside of the unit with a clean soft cloth, moistened with lukewarm water. Do not use solvents such as benzene or thinner. These will permanently damage the units finish.
Cleaning the CD/VCD player lens
The lens should never be touched. If dust is on t camera he leans, blow it off using a lens blower. (Please consult your dealer.)

If trouble occurs...
To avoid the hazard of electric shock and damage to the unit, have the unit bench tested by our authorized service station.
Do not remove the unit from its cabinet to attempt repairs yourself.
Warning
- Do not block the ventilation hole.
- Do not expose to rain or moisture.
Cleaning the tape heads
When dust or reddish-brown oxide builds up on the tape deck heads, pinch roller and capstan, the following problems may result:
Poor sound quality during playback
Distorted, poor quality recordings
Erratic tape speed during recording or playback
To ensure playback and recording with good quality sound, use a cleaning tape (available from your local audio dealer) to clean the head block of the deck after about every 10 hours of use.
OR
- Open the cassette compartment lid by pressing (STOP/EJECT).
- Press REC while pushing in the lever as Illustration.
- Moisten a cotton swab (1) with isopropyl alcohol or special head cleaning fluid. Gently rub the face of each head (2,3) with alcohol.
Also clean the capstan (5) and pinch roller (4).
