12.2 General Safety information

Please note Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to the safe handling of the device. ► Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this Owner’s Manual. ► Be sure your appliance is properly installed and grounded by a qualified technician in accordance with the provided User’s Manual. ► Don’t attempt to repair or replace any part of your oven unless it is specifically recommended in this manual. 12.3 Sources of danger

12.3.1 Dangers due to electrical power

Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to electrical power: ► If the connection lead is damaged, you will need to have a special connection lead installed by an authorized electrician. ► Do not operate this device if its power cable or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly or if it is damaged or has been dropped. If the power cable is damaged, it will need to be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agency or a similar qualified person, to avoid any dangers. ► Do not open the housing on the device under any circumstances. 13.3 Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device against damages during transit. Returning the packaging back to the material loop saves raw materials and reduces the quantities of accumulated waste. Take any packaging materials that are no longer required to “Green Dot” recycling collection points for disposal. 13.4.1 Important notes to the Installer

Please note ► Do not remove spacers (if equipped) on the side walls and/or on the back of the built-in oven. These spacers center the oven in the space provided. The oven must be centered to prevent excess heat build up that may result in heat damage or fire. ► Base must be capable of supporting 80kg. ► Read all installation instructions before installing the built-in oven. ► Remove all packing material from the oven compartments before connecting the electrical supply to the wall oven. ► Observe all governing codes and ordinances. ► Be sure to leave these instructions with the consumer. ► Oven door may be removed to facilitate installation.caso EO 27 56 ► These ovens are not approved for stackable or side–by installation. ► Be sure your oven is installed and grounded properly by a qualified installer or service technician. ► This oven must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes. ► Warning: stepping, leaning or sitting on the door of this oven can result in serious injuries and can also cause damage to the oven. ► Never use your oven for warming or heating the room. Prolonged use of the oven without adequate ventilation can be dangerous. ► Warning: the electrical power to the oven must be shut off while line connections are being made. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.

  • Inspect the connection with the power source. Check and ensure a current of 16A from this power source. A special junction box must be provided and connected by a qualified person.

13.5 Electrical requirements

These appliances must be supplied with proper voltage and frequency (AC220-240V, 50Hz), and connected to an individual, properly grounded branch circuit, protected by a circuit breaker. Warning ► Electrical ground is required on this appliance. ► Do not connect to the electrical supply until appliance is permanently grounded. ► Disconnect power to the junction box before making the electrical connection. ► This appliance must be connected to a grounded, metallic, permanent wiring system, or a grounding connector should be connected to the grounding terminal or wire lead on the appliance. ► Power supply line should avoid touching the crust sheet metal of the electric oven. 14.1 Oven functions:

FAN OVEN: This method of cooking uses the circular element while the heat is distributed by the fan. This results in a faster a nd more economical cooking process. The fan oven allows food to be cooked simultaneously on different shelves, preventing the transmission of smells and tastes from one dish onto another. CONVENTIONAL OVEN (top and lower element): This method of cooking provides traditional cooking, with heat from the top and lower elements. This function is suitable for roasting and baking on one shelf only. CONVENTIONAL OVEN AND FAN: This method of cooking provides traditional cooking, with heat from the top and lower elements in conjunction with the fan, This function is suitable for roasting and baking . HALF GRILL MODE: This method of cooking utilizes the inner sections of the top element, which directs heat downwards onto the food. This function is suitable for grilling portions of bacon, toast and meat etc. HALF GRILL MODE: This method of cooking utilizes the inner sections of the top element, which directs heat downwards onto the food. This function is suitable for grilling portions of bacon, toast and meat etc. FAN AND HALF GRILL: This method of cooking utilizes the inner sections of the top element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to provide a quick circulation of heat. This function is suitable for grilling portions of bacon, toast and meat etc. GRILL MODE: This method of cooking utilises the top element, which directs heat downwards onto the food. Ideal when additional cooking is required for the surface of the food being cooked. FAN AND GRILL: This method of cooking utilizes the top element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to provide a quick circulation of heat. This function is suitable where quick browning is required and “sealing” the juices in, such as steaks, hamburgers, some vegetables etc. LOWER ELEMENT: This method of cooking utilises the bottom element, which heat upwards onto the food. Ideal when additional cooking is required for the bottom of the food being cooked.caso EO 27 59 FAN AND LOWER ELEMENT: This method of cooking utilizes the bottom element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to circulate the heat. This function is suitable for sterilizing and preserving jars. FAN OVEN AND GRILL: This method of cooking utilizes the top element and the circular element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to provide a quick circulation of heat. The fan oven allows food to be cooked simultaneously on different shelves; This function is suitable where quick browning is required. DEFROST MODE: The fan runs without heat to reduce the defrosting time of frozen foods. The time required to defrost the food will depend on the room temperature, the quantity and type of food. Always check food packaging for the defrosting instructions.

14.2.3 Timer cooking function setting:

Press for one time show“h”, icon and hour number hose blinks。The setting way as the same as CLOCK setting way. At this moment, entering timer roasting and it shows countdown of timer roasting. As the priority to display countdown of alarm, so at this moment, press one time to look at the count down of timing. When the time is up, the oven will turn off automatically. If it is set 01:20,meaning oven will turn off until 1 hour and 20 seconds later. Please note ► When setting the clock, the functions of timing roast and delayed roast are canceled.

14.2.4 Delayed cooking function setting:

After timer cooking function is set, press again; or timer cooking function is set, press continually twice for setting cooking end time, showing icon. The setting is the same way as provided in the CLOCK instructions. After setting cooking end time , it shows delayed end time. Due to priority to display countdown interface of alarm, so if setting alarm time, it have priority to display countdown interface of alarm. Then it will display timer or delayed end time.caso EO 27 61 When delayed time arrive half, icon disappear, and icon appear, and countdown of timer cooking. As setted mode, oven works, and work as timer cooking function. In this modus duration and stopping time must be set as follow: Start time = Stop time – Set time Example: Now it is 7:00,the set time is1:20,off time set is11;20 °C meaning the oven should work for 1h and 20seconds from 10:00 to 11:20. Please note ► When setting the clock, the functions of timing roast and delayed roast are canceled.

14.2.5 Alarm setting:

Touch show “h”, and hour number hose display. The setting way as the same as the instruction of CLOCK. At this moment, after alarm auto count down, until it blinks “0:00”, alarm buzzers for 10 times. Please note ► When using the alarm as timer °C the timer will not influence the other functions when it is working and stops. ► When setting the alarm °C press one time again °C it means cancelling the alarm function.

14.2.8 keep-warming mode:

When the oven does not work, push the bottom ,and the default mode is set, push the bottom to start the keep-warming mode. The default temperature is 80 degree, and the keep-warming bottom is lighten. To push the buttom again to stop the keep- warming mode, and the buttom goes out.

14.2.9 pre-heating mode:

When the oven does not work, push the bottom ,and the default mode is set, push the bottom to start the preheating mode. The default temperature is 180 degree, and the preheating bottom is lighten. When the cavity reach 180 degree, the mode is stopped automatically or to push the buttom again to stop the keep- warming mode, and the buttom goes out. 15 Operation and Handing

15.1 Place the selves correctly on the supports

To remove a shelf, pull it towards you, lift the front end up and pull it out. To replace a shelf, place the end of the shelf on the support, lift the front end up and push the shelf in. Interior with slide way:caso EO 27 64 Internal fitting without guide rail:

15.1.1 Set the oven for baking or roasting

Choose the function which the roasting food needs. Adjust the appropriate temperature to that which the food needs. If need of timer while cooking, please adjust to the appropriate time which the food needs. Assure the minimal cooking time of the food. If needed, prolong the time. When finish cooking touch OFFbottom, the oven will be finish heating; If the timer cooking, when time is up,the oven will auto finish heating. Please note ► In order to cool down the inner parts after cooking or baking, cooling fan will turn on automatically, and turn off in auto style as well. It is the normal phenomena.

15.1.3 Preheating and Pan Placement

Preheat the oven if the recipe calls for it. To preheat, set the oven at the correct temperature. Preheating is necessary for good results when baking cakes, cookies, pastry and breads. 16.1 How to remove the packaging tap

Please note ► Remove and install the oven door according to the manual, to avoid increase the difficulty or make the injury. ► Disassemble the door according to the following figures:caso EO 27 70 Open the door hinge. Carefully turn the lever. Hold the doors at an angle as shown. Hold the doors very firmly while doing so.caso EO 27 71 Carefully remove the door. 16.4 To clean the outside of the door:

Use soap and water to thoroughly clean the top, sides and front of the oven door. Rinse well. You may also use a glass cleaner to clean the glass on the outside of the door. Do not store a soiled tray and grid anywhere in the oven.

It is a good idea to wipe the control panel after each use. Clean it with dry soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleansers, plastic scouring pads or oven cleansers on the control panel-they will damage the finish.

16.8 Stainless steel surfaces (on some models)

Do not use the stainless steel cleaners for it will scratch the surface. Use a hot, damp cloth with a mild detergent suitable for stainless steel surfaces. Use a clean, hot, damp cloth to remove soap. Dry with a dry, clean cloth. If food soil remains, try a general kitchen cleaner. For hard-to-clean soil, use a standard stainless steel cleaner. After cleaning, use a stainless steel polish. Follow the product instructions for cleaning the stainless steel surface.

16.9 Oven light bulb

Please note ► The glass cover (on some models) should be removed only when cold. Wearing latex gloves may offer a better grip. Before replacing the bulb, disconnect electrical power to the oven at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Let the bulb cool completely before removing it. For your safety, do not touch a hot bulb with a damp cloth. If you do, the bulb will break. To remove: Turn the glass cover counterclockwise1/4 turn until the tabs of the glass cover clear the grooves of the socket. Remove the bulb. To replace: Put in a new 25-watt appliance bulb. Place the tabs of the glass cover into the grooves of the socket. Turn the glass cover clockwise1/4 turn.

Please note ► A 25-watt appliance bulb is smaller than a standard 25-watt household bulb. ► Install and tighten the cover clockwise. ► Reconnect electrical power to the oven. ► For improved lighting inside the oven, clean the glass cover frequently using a wet cloth. This should be done when the oven is completely cool.
