How to use the DO418BL blender?

First, make sure the appliance is unplugged and the button is set to 0. Place the jug on the motor base by turning it clockwise until it locks. Add food cut into small pieces without exceeding the 'maximum' mark. Close the lid and the measuring cap. Plug in the appliance: the base lights up blue. Select the desired speed (1 for low, 2 for high) or hold the P position for pulse operation. Do not exceed 3 minutes of continuous use. To stop, turn the button back to 0 and unplug.

What to do if the appliance does not work?

First check that the jug is correctly engaged on the motor base: the safety switch prevents startup if it is not properly placed. Also ensure the speed control knob is not set to 0 and that the appliance is plugged in. If the problem persists, contact authorized customer service.

Can you blend hot or boiling foods?

No, it is strictly forbidden to blend boiling foods. Let them cool down before putting them in the jug. Thermal shock could damage the glass and cause burns.

How to clean the DO418BL blender?

Use the automatic cleaning function: pour a little soapy water into the jug, place the lid, and hold the button in the P (pulse) position for a few seconds. Then remove the jug and rinse it with clean water. For the outside of the motor base, use a soft damp cloth without harsh products. Never immerse the motor base in water.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

When using the electrical appliance, the below basic safety precautions should be followed:

FOR THE INITIAL USE

1. Unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal surface.
2. Immerse jug, top lid and measuring cup in warm soapy water and rinse them and dry. Never immerse motor unit in water for cleaning to prevent the risk of electric shock.

Caution: the blade is very sharp, handle with great care.

Before assembling the jug, be sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet and the speed selector is on the 0 position.

The jug is suitable for making mixture which the juice and pulp are mixed.

For attaching jug, first place the jug into the motor unit, then turn it in clockwise .

Note: make sure the jug is assembled into the motor unit properly, there is interlock switch on the position, if the jug is not assembled properly, the blender will not operate.

BLENDING FRUIT AND VEGETABLE:

1. Before attaching the power cord into the outlet, make sure the speed selector is in the 0 position.
2. Peel or core the fruit or vegetables and then cut it into small dices, put the food pieces into the jug. The amount of mixture should not exceed the max level as indicated on the jug.

Note: never use boiling liquids or run the appliance empty. The jug can be used for breaking up ice.

1. Replace the top lid on the jug. Only directly place the top lid into the jug.
2. Plug in the unit, the glass base will light up.
3. Turn the speed selector to the desired setting, the blue light of the base will start blinking. There are four settings: P, 0, 1, 2. The 1 setting is the low speed, the 2 setting is the high speed. Turn switch to P position and hold it to pulse actuate motor for delicate chopping. Release it to return the 0 position.
4. You may add ingredient into the jug through the center opening of top lid during operation, then replace Measuring Cup if necessary. Let the tab of Measuring Cup aligns with the groove of top lid, put down and turn clockwise until it is locked.
5. The consecutive operation time shall not exceed 3 minutes. Minimum 1 minutes rest period is required between two consecutive cycles.
6. Turn the Speed selector to 0 Position once the mixture has been blended to your desired consistency.
7. Remove the jug from the Motor Unit (remove it by turning it anti-clockwise), carefully take down the top lid, then pour and serve.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The Auto Clean feature can clean the blender and blade assembly easily, rapidly in complete safety.

-Pour a little warm soapy water into the jug and turn the Speed Selector to P position for a few seconds.

-Remove the jug from the motor unit by turning it in anti-clockwise and rinse the jug, top lid under running water.

-Wiping the outer surface of Motor Unit with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive

cleansers. Never immerse in water for cleaning

-Dry all parts and then replace them

For complete cleaning, you can hold the blade assembly at the bottom of jar carefully, for it is sharp, take it out by turning coupling on the other side clockwise emphatically?

Then put the detachable accessories into Dishwasher for clean, they are dishwasher safe components, but the temperature setting shall not exceed 70^ C.

If any problem has been encountered during use never disassemble the Motor Base by yourself, no user serviceable parts inside. Contact only the authorized service facility for examination and repair.
