User’s Manual—Read before using this equipment Thank you for purchasing the Brite-Nite

. With normal care and proper treatment it will provide years of reliable use. It is important to read and understand all operating instructions before use. FEATURES

• Caution! The lens will become hot after prolonged use.

• Do not use it underwater. Store in a clean, dry environment.

• Do not use it near flammable liquids, gasses, or in high temperature—the battery may explode.

• When the light gets dim, please stop using it and charge immediately.

• Do not charge the unit for more then 30 hours.

• This unit is durable and built to last; however do not drop it as this may damage the unit.

User’s Manual—Read before using this equipment OPERATION

1. Push the power trigger once to turn on the 3W LED spotlight; push it

again to turn it off.

2. Push the power trigger a third time to turn on the 18 LED area lantern;

push it again to turn it off

3. The unit will not turn off automatically. When the light becomes dim,

please turn off the light and charge immediately to avoid battery damage.

• DO NOT turn on the light while charging. Doing so may damage the unit and will not be covered under the warranty. As with all sealed lead- acid batteries, when storing, be sure to recharge the battery fully every 1-2 months to prolong the life of the battery.

• DO NOT leave the unit plugged in after it is fully charged. Charging the unit past the recommended maximum time will damage the internal battery and will void the warranty. AC CHARGING Make sure the unit is turned off before charging.

1. Insert the AC charging plug into the charging jack on the bottom of the

handle of the spotlight.

2. Plug the transformer end of the AC adapter into a 110V AC outlet.

MAINTENANCE Store and operate in a clean and dry environment. It is advisable to recharge the spotlight after using, otherwise the battery life will be shortened. As with all sealed lead-acid batteries, when storing, be sure to recharge the battery fully every 1-2 months to prolong the life of the battery. DO NOT leave the spotlight plugged in after the charging time or you will damage the internal battery. The lifespan of the internal battery depends on how it is treated. After you have received the RMA# and the return instructions from WAGAN Corporation, please follow the instructions and send the item with PREPAID SHIPPING, along with all of the required documentation, a complete explanation of the problem, your name, address and daytime phone number. WAGAN Corporation will, at its option, replace or repair the defective part. A Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) is REQUIRED when sending in any defective item. WAGAN Corporation is not responsible for any item(s) returned without an official Returned Merchandise Authorization number. The item(s) must be returned with prepaid shipping. WAGAN Corporation is not responsible for any shipping charges incurred in returning the item(s) back to the company for repair or replacement. This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, in shipment, unreasonable use, misuse, neglect, improper service, commercial use, repairs by unauthorized personnel or other causes not arising out of defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not extend to any units which have been used in violation of written instructions furnished.
