Congratulations on the purchase of your new TURMIX Juicer. It will bring you much pleasure and allow you to experience many culinary delights. Your new juicer was developed by leading Swiss engineers and designers and has been carefully manufactured by hand in Switzerland.

Easy to use, a powerful motor and easy and quick to clean - this juicer is pure pleasure to work with. Appliances that are complicated to use and take hours to clean usually end up in the draw not being used. For this reason, TURMIX has designed a completely different, unconventional juicer. Ensuring a problem-free juice experience.

The TURMIX Juicer technology is the result of intense development work. The technology is based on the perfect balance of three individual factors that are essential for an efficient extraction of the juice: the ideal speed, a greater disc with intelligently arranged teeth as well as a juicer sieve that is perforated from the inside out.

TIP The juicer can be disassembled by following these steps in reversed order.

ENCLOSURE

Place the enclosure ring on the base properly. In doing so, pay attention to the champered edge and the notches on both sides.

SIEVE AND GRATER DISC

Insert the sieve. Make sure to put the triangular notch on the base above the even elevation in the enclosure. Place the grater disc with the sharp side up. Also pay attention to the triangular notch. Finally, securely tighten the nut.

PULPRINGANDLID

Firmly press the pulp ring into the bottom. Place the lid with the feed opening at the front and lock with the locking system.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT The built-in safety switch prevents the device from being used without the lid being locked.

PREPARATION

Protect sensitive work surface with a protective and anti-slip mat. Plug in before use and place a suitable container under the outlet spout.

TURN THE DEVICE ON/OFF

Turn on the device. Feed the contents into the feed opening in the lid and, if required, push these down with the pusher. After use, turn the device off and unplug it. Let the device cool down before storing it. important: Slight vibrations may occur during the use and are model-dependant. The unit will usually stop vibrating if you continue extracting the juice.

EMPTYING THE PULP RING

Whilst in operation, leftovers will not only collect in the pulp ring but also underneath it. This may result in the ring being pushed upwards. Regularly empty the contents of the pulp ring in a waste bin and clean the groove of the juicer sieve. Place the pulp ring back in the device. Place the lid with the feed opening at the front and lock with the locking system on both sides.

APPLE, CARROT AND CELERY JUICE

Clean all ingredients thoroughly and, if desired, peel the carrots and apples. Put all the ingredients in the juicer. Before consuming, stir the juice thoroughly and put in a glass.

TIP Choose the type of apple according to your taste. You can also vary the quantity of apples and carrots. Adding more apples will make the juice sweeter, more carrots will make it spicier.

TOMATO, CUCUMBER AND CARROT JUICE

3 MEDIUM-SIZED TOMATOES

1 LARGE CUCUMBER

Clean all ingredients thoroughly and, if desired, peel the cucumber and carrots. Put all the ingredients in the juicer. Before consuming, stir the juice thoroughly and put in a glass.

BEETROOT, APPLE AND CELERY JUICE

4 BEETROOT Clean all ingredients thoroughly and, if desired, peel the beetroot 2 MEDIUM-SIZED and apples. Put all the ingredients in the juicer. Before consuming, APPLES stir the juice thoroughly and put in a glass.

PINEAPPLE, PEACH AND PEAR JUICE

12 A PINEAPPLE Peal the pineapple and cut in half, clean the pear and peaches thoroughly, cut peaches in half and take out stone. Put all the ingredients in the juicer. Before consuming, stir the juice thoroughly and RIPE PEARS put in a glass.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT Unplug before cleaning / disassembling

REMOVE INDIVIDUAL PARTS

Unlock the locks on both sides. Remove the lid and the pulp ring. Unscrew the nut and remove the sieve incl. the grater disc. The grater disc is sharp!

DISHWASHER PROOF PARTS.

Wash the individual parts in the dishwasher or thoroughly under running water with some washing-up liquid. Use a washing-up brush to ensure the holes in the sieve are cleaned thoroughly. Do not use any abrasive / aggressive detergents. The grater disc is sharp!

NOT DISHWASHER PROOF PARTS.

Check that the power plug has been unplugged. Wipe the base with a wet cloth. Wash the enclosure ring, the nut as well as the pusher thoroughly under running water with some washing-up liquid. Dry all the parts with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive / aggressive detergents. The base should never come in contact with water.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity or with a lack of experience or knowledge without supervision or prior instruction by a person responsible for their safety. Children are to be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance is intended for household use and not for business or commercial purposes. Never operate this appliance on an uneven surface or outdoors.

Never leave the appliance out unattended. When the appliance is not in use, switch it off and disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool down before storing away.

Connect the appliance to properly installed sockets only, with the correct power rating (see rating plate on the appliance), ideally to a residual-current device ( .30mA) .Do not use an extension cable.

Never operate damaged appliances or equipment (including damaged power cord). Do not disassemble the appliance yourself. All repairs must be carried out by properly qualified specialists only. Our service points can be found at www.TURMIX.com.

Never operate the appliance with a damaged juicer sieve.

Never allow the power cord to hang loose. Do not unplug the appliance from the mains by pulling on the cable or with wet hands. Never place the power cord on hot surfaces and do not allow it to come into contact with fats or oils.

Pull out the plug from the mains socket before removing or attaching parts, before cleaning or maintenance and if the appliance is not functioning properly.

Never touch live parts.

For reasons of safety, only use accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.

If the appliance catches fire, extinguish the fire with a fire blanket only.

Never touch rotating parts or blades. Switch the appliance off, wait until it stops completely and pull out the mains plug before touching parts inside the appliance. Danger of injury!

The grater disc is sharp! Even if the device is turned off, clean it with the utmost care.

Do not insert any objects or fingers into the appliance openings.

Do not cover the appliance openings or air vents. This can lead to overheating!

Never use the appliance near water or other liquids (bathtub, sink, etc.) and never expose it to rain or damp. If the appliance falls into water or liquid, pull out the mains plug before taking it out. The appliance must be checked by a qualified specialist before its next use.

When using the appliance on sensitive furniture, use a covering to protect it.

Only wash those parts in the dishwasher that are designated dishwasher-safe. For more information on this, see the section entitled «Cleaning».

Use of the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose, or incorrect operation, cleaning or repair renders the guarantee void and no liability will be assumed for any damage caused.

DISPOSAL

Before disposing of the appliance, make it unusable by cutting off the power cord.

This appliance is not suitable for disposal as domestic waste. Please dispose of it in accordance with the regulations that apply in your area.

GUARANTEE

We provide a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase with TURMIX electrical household appliances. Improper handling or third-party interference with the appliance renders the guarantee void. Please be sure to retain your proof of purchase (receipt), which serves as proof of guarantee.
