the best possible use of the appliance. This manual includes all the necessary

instructions and advice for using, cleaning and maintaining the appliance. If

you follow these instructions you will be guaranteed of an excellent result, it

• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including

of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision

or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person that is

responsible for their safety.

The sandwich toaster should only be connected to an earthed socket

installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply

voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label (1). This

product complies with EEC Directives 89/336/EEC and 72/23/EEC.

• Remove all packaging of the device.

• Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage

• After a short warm-up period the sandwich toaster is ready for use.: the

• Press both cooking plates together.

• Finished; open the toaster and take out the sandwiches. In order to

prevent the non-stick cooking plates from being damaged, do not use

sharp or pointed objects while removing the sandwiches.

• Remove the plug from the wall socket after use.

• Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the

appliance has cooled down with the cooking plates open.

• For reasons of electrical safety, never use water or any other kind of

liquid on the sandwich toaster, nor immerse it.

• The sandwich toaster with non-stick coated plates requires little

maintenance. Clean the outside with a soft damp cloth only.

• The non-stick-coated plates can also be cleaned with a soft damp cloth

by improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly executed.

• Cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only necessary

maintenance for this appliance.

• When the appliance should be repaired, make sure that this will be

performed by an authorized company.

• This appliance may not be amended or changed.

• If problems arise during the 2 years from the date of purchase, which

are covered by the factory warranty, you can go back to the point of

purchase to replace it for a new one.
