How to connect the KeepOut HX8 headset to my PC?

Plug the headset into a free USB port on your PC or console. The operating system will recognize it automatically. For optimal experience, install the KeepOut 7.1 Gaming Headset software from the included CD.

Make sure you have installed the KEEPOUT Virtual 7.1 CH Audio Device driver. Open the KeepOut software, click the icon in the taskbar, and select the appropriate sound mode (e.g. "3D Games: 8CH"). Also check that your source application supports surround sound.
